Here’s an “upgrade” to my 1950-D, upgrade in quotes because both coins are the same grade (MS67), but the new one fits much better into my toned set.
It’s a little bit funky, and it has true “R.O.Y.G.B.I.V.” rainbow color progression on parts of both sides. The TrueView is a touch overexposed but not too far off.
The old one is an unremarkable 67 that I acquired below greysheet:
@Matt04 I think I've shown you this one before, but this is my heavy motto in PCGS 64. It was the very last coin I acquired to complete my full set, so I understand your struggle! Very challenging to find with color.
@NorCalJack & @P0CKETCHANGE Absolutely stunning examples Wow! I think another very unique thing about the 34-D is if you find the Small D Variety its the original reverse 1932-D dies that were first re-used in 1934
This chart shows the three 1950 issues (P/D/S) and the % change in the PCGS guide for the MS67 grade over the past 5 years. I find it odd that the Denver coin sank by 50% while the others are flat or up. Any ideas?

Wonder what the population in MS67 did across the three? I imagine several coins came out. That was one of the reasons I sold my MS67 set when I did. I am currently working on a MS65 set and having fun doing it. Some coins are about 1/10th of a 67!

This 1935 Washington Quarter Graded by PCGS today:
This is not by any means a semi key, or scarce date, its actually from what I recall a rather common example in lower unc grades.
I bought this example for its rather unique qualities. Graded MS65 by Anacs, I knew it was nowhere close to a 65. Crusty & Original, it was freshly graded by a dealer who had bought a dansco album from a collector with this example in it. it was then sent off to anacs, graded then bought by me.
An obverse & reverse with this insane original skin! I really hope once the trueviews are uploaded that it does a good job showing it. Under the right angles there is this slight rainbow halo on the obverse.
I suspect this was an ender for an Original Bank Wrapped Roll Based on the obverse toning.

Wow, MS65 to MS68!!! Quite an impressive upgrade!
Trueview is not bad, finally uploaded to my account! Its also the front cover photo for the 1935 Date Quarter in Coinfacts!
This takes it thus far as my favorite Quarter! I'm glad the TV sorta captures the rainbow on the obverse, very slight but there.
