Kind of silly to get excited about, but I have been looking for one of these for close to a year. Obviously I could’ve gone online and ordered one, but I wanted to wait for one to come through the shop where I could see it in person.
Anyway, last Monday, it showed up and I snagged it!
And it’s a nice looking example in my opinion. Last year, I got the 10 ounce version, you see those pretty often but the fives are pretty tough…

Only if I was saying that it was for my personal collection, getting a lower price, and then selling immediately afterwards. yes, I think that would, but if I were to buy stuff and just simply sell it on here, that would not be a problem, he encourages me to make money on stuff…
My biggest problem is wanting to let go of the stuff I buy 😆 I’m a great dealer for the shop, but with my own personal stuff, I’m a horrible dealer! I always wanna keep all the cool stuff! 😆

Nothing wrong with hanging on to what you like.
I'm looking more towards buying it right and sell it right, then rinse and repeat with the profit.
In the end it makes your keeps cheaper or more of them...helps the shop turn money around and with a little labor on your part could be beneficial for all parties involved.I was buying from a local shop when they got something in that was interesting.
I as well didn't sell anything, just bought until my wallet squawked and then hit the ATM.
After awhile the inventory started to slow down and the pricing went up as they got in the vintage silver bars.1 -

I picked this up on Friday, surprisingly, I’ve never owned one of these before until now…
Got it for $60 an ounce, doesn’t seem too bad for what it is…
Just kind of a fun pick up.

"Rediscovered' this medal i had buried in back of safe while pulling out a 100oz silver bar to sell. I kinda remember I still had it, but out of sight, out of mind for the last 15 years. At one time I had 5 of these. Total weight is 1.33ozt. Medal and pin are 22-24kt gold. Wish I still had the other 4.

Estes Park is near here. We go there often. That spoon would probably sell for a premium at one of the souvenir shops in the town.
Mexican silver is often 800 fine, not 925. The Cape Hatteras spoon might not be silver (based on the color of it as it appears in the photo).
Still, quite a bargain for the lot.
