First @lordmarcovan , I absolutely LOVE your Love Tokens. What an absolutely great collection. Talk about art!!! Gorgeous!
Second, perhaps keep in the back of your mind maximizing value of some of your high three-figure or higher coins by the time of sale, if that’s of any importance to you or your heirs. Chances are many of your coins will net more if the CAC stickers many of your coins merit are actually on the holders at the time of sale. Many heirs won’t know how to do it. Finally, even JA implied that when he retires when his current contract is up in a few years that the CAC stickering operation may cease, other than for re-stickering previously stickered coins that got/get reholdered. That would probably drive more business to their grading operation (CACG). IF that should happen, then chances are, due to the fixed supply, the current pricing differential between stickered coins and their non-stickered counterparts will likely increase. Your current posting of your 1886 PR64CAM Dime is a prime example.

A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine!!!
No Carson City dimes yet? Mine will be lousy examples, though I'm personally nostalgic for the 1876-CC below. It was the first CC coin I bought as a young collector years ago.

My grandmother was born in 1883. She was always looking for 1883 dated coins. This piece was in her collection.
Two Barber Dimes.
This 1898 is graded PR-64, CAM.
This 1913 is part of an assembled Proof set. It is a darkly toned, original piece which is graded PR-66.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Today we move on to the Winged Liberty Dime, better known as the Mercury Dime (1916-45).
It was a Mercury dime which started my numismatic journey. This year I will celebrate my 50th anniversary as a numismatist. On November 25, 1976, I was not quite eleven years old. That day was Thanksgiving Day, and we were visiting my step-grandmother's big old house in Atlanta. The grownups wanted me out of the kitchen, so they asked me to set the table for the upcoming feast. In the silverware drawer of the sideboard in the dining room, I found a 1936 dime. That coin, forty years old then, seemed incredibly ancient to me at the time.
I still have it somewhere. Here it is- the very first coin in my collection.
This is my current Mercury dime type coin. I chose a 1944 since that was my mother's birthyear.
Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

Today we move on into the Roosevelt dimes; specifically the Roosevelt Dime Silver (1946-64).
Do not post any CLAD Roosevelt dimes today- that's tomorrow's type!
I do not presently have an example of this type in my collection. My only silver Roosies are in my metal detector finds album, and those are not imaged.

Good morning. It is February 17th.
Today our type is the Liberty Head Dime (1892-1916), better known as the Barber Dime.
While I do not have one in my current primary collection, this was my former "best of type": a PCGS MS64 CAC.
(I also had a white MS64 at one time, though the images of that are so bad I won't bother posting them.)
Here is a Barber dime pictorial love token I used to have. I called it "The Greene Swan".
I also of course have a Barber dime in my "holey" 19th century type set.
Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
I’m lovin’ these Love Tokens of yours, @lordmarcovan !

Some of y'all have these. I no longer have any myself, so they're technically "obsolete".

Here are two, one is a Business Strike, the other a Proof. Unlike most of my silver coins that don’t have much color, these have color!

I have the one from Oak Ridge, can’t locate it—

The mercury dime slot in my set has been an odyssey, tbh. Though this is currently keeping the seat warm, my eyes remain peeled.
Near terminal toning + 67/68 luster = this thing. The TV is not our hosts best work.
