The coin above is not a recent purchase though. Here's my most recent purchase of which I am now eagerly awaiting its arrival. It's an 1875-S WB-24 (R7) in a Fatty NGC MS63 holder with a CAC sticker, and special thanks to @Southcounty for the heads up on the WB-24.

1855-O Arrows 50c PCGS XF40. Love those slanted, curlicue 5s.
I just pulled the trigger on this three minutes ago after accepting the seller’s counteroffer. I ended up paying $250, which is the full PCGS value. Oops, no, after shipping, it was $254.88. So that extra $4.88 was my “CircCam premium”, I guess. LOL.
Worth it to me.

My only Bust Half Dollar. Fortunately I was at the right place at the right time. This coin is spectacular looking in hand. Thanks @Desert Moon
Gorgeous XF coin, congrats!! I looked at this coin numerous times when it was for sale from another seller. That’s usually a “tell” that I should just pull the trigger. Alas, I didn’t.
The 1839-D Classic Head QE is the only one of this series minted at the Dahlonega facility. Unique, too, with the mint mark above the date in the obverse. While “only” a XF40, the wear is even & the eye appeal is pretty good. I think marks befit the grade. While just about all of my type gold set is CAC endorsed, I had to make an exception for this example.

Fairly recent purchases, but grades and TVs popped this AM…..
Purchased raw at local coin show in December.
Now AU 58BN (N-2)
Purchased raw at LCS last summer. Now VF 30
Purchased raw at LCS years ago. I was off thinking this would grade at least 12. Threw it into the submission on a whim because I wanted enough coins in there to make shipping worthwhile and well…….im still working on patience (still submit too many “widgets”).
VG 10…..I was surprised to see PCGS price guide at $175 in this grade range. I know it’s a better date but that seems awfully high to me for a VG. My notes say I paid $40 for it sometime in 2017.

Oh, Oh.... @Barberian is starting to collect higher graded seated halves.

Sweet coin, Rick.

Huh? How can one tell? I see potential problems with it already. For example, is that graffiti under TRUST on the reverse?
Don't think so. If you're seeking perfection with business strikes, you'll be often disappointed!

My Texas Set needed a nicer toned 1934, and I found it today

Well done. Very attractive and just oozing with eye appeal.
