    That is quite a haul of Morgans !
    I'm guessing they became attractive because they didn't cost a lot more then "melt" value (the CCs excepted, of course) ?

    For sure has a lot to do with it. We are a new shop, just going on 2 months open in our area so it also doesn't hurt to have more inventory.
    Now it's just the decision of what to do with them. Probably hold back the CC's and better dates and move a lot of the 63 and 64 common dates.
    I had made my bid on the lot prior to the $7 jump in silver so I'm curious to see how much, if any effect that has on the wholesale buy prices on the 63's and 64 common dates.

    @MEJ7070 that cent has a very cool look. Very nice.

    Other passions include golf, Moto Guzzi motorcycles, and Euro motorcycles in general.

    Much appreciated. Combination of 17__ date, die break, and some type of hard to describe VG “cameo” effect that my eyes see, and the bean made me decide to go for it.

    I can see that very coin left on the table at a New England tavern, say, circa 1805.

    Both Saints look conservatively graded. Nice coins.
