How many times have you submitted coins to PCGS?
Their grading has been very good, IMO. However, when one experiences the nonsense and incompetence I went through and begins pondering the potential loss of sales revenue from their poor ancillary services like maintaining their registry, attributions and photography, it can affect one's respect and loyalty towards a company. They have lots of issues within their organization now. So, what do they do? They start pumping out some glossy magazine unrelated to their core mission.

Yes, but not in the last 18 months. I don’t see the parallel between submission delays and a single month to fix a software glitch though. If anything, your argument supports my position that PCGS won’t care about this thread as it doesn’t affect its bottom line (whereas submission delays have and the response was still slow and anemic).
It sounds like you may not have been reading previous threads on this issue, this "glitch" has been an issue for over a year now not a single month. Many others have complained about this problem with no real solution as of yet. Here is a thread on the registry forum about it.
I attended the FUN show on the 8th as well as the PCGS Cocktail party, where they discussed some awards and things coming up for 2026. Working on and modernizing the registry sets was one of the topics, the first time I heard it addressed. While nothing specific was mentioned, I did chime in about people in the forum having issues with the registry, the photography and put in my 2 cents on other issues. While I don't have too many problems with the registry myself, I know there are enough people out there who do. It would be nice to have a 2026 affixed forum thread for suggestions/fixes needed.

You don’t seem to understand the reality.
Collectors core mission is now cards.
Coins are just the cash cow.
PE is all about cost optimization, which is incompatible with paying decent salaries for competent experts to really improve the business (not implying that current employees aren’t competent, just overwhelmed).
PE is all about window dressing (improving the numbers, ie. bean counting).

And that's how competitors like CAC and CACG emerge and put them out of business.
I think a lot of the hate we are reading on this forum about PCGS is actually difficulties some members here are going through in their personal lives and have nothing to do with the organization they are railing against.

That seems rather insulting. It is quite possible to be happy in your personal life and unhappy when the waitress dumps soup in your lap.

LOL! Unfortunately, they are very similar. I should take a picture of my Dodge van and leave that up for you to decide, but unfortunately, it's at the automotive repair shop being worked on.
If I had to choose a coin that resembles my car, it would have to be this gem. The diagnostic feature on the coin, the overdate, is prominent, just like my van's main feature, the engine, runs fine. It's everything else that's a problem.

The difference is if you frequent a restaurant where the waitress dumps hot soup in your lap you probably don't return and continue to order off the menu.

True, but some people are either more loyal or more stupid than others. There's a lot of that going around these days.
I started off with the PCGS registry, but I've since moved to CACG and Mycollect as they're both more inclusive, and I've found myself moving my main collection to CACG.
I absolutely miss the album presentation, but these other registries are just easier to live with.

The sets are yours, and you can obviously do whatever you please with them. Full on deletion seems drastic for a transient software glitch, and deleting them in protest and making a post about it seems melodramatic.
I disagree. It seems like another attempt to get through to them (they do read this board) and show the risk they run by not performing maintenance or CS on one of their coin Crown Jewels (the registry)
Then why not post a thread asking if others are having issues and drawing attention to the issue? Instead it comes off like a kid taking his ball and going home in a bout of anger. I’ll concede that I may be looking at it the wrong way, but it just strikes me as excessive.
I do agree that the registry is one of PCGS’s Crown Jewels. The loss of TDN’s sets is a loss for collectors. However, I’m not sure that one participant’s departure will change anyone’s mind. It would take large droves of collectors leaving, and even then, until a demonstrable effect becomes apparent to PCGS’s/CU’s revenue, it will likely be written off as background noise. It’s unfortunate, but the corporate world only cares about money. Since his set deletion didn’t cost them any appreciable sum of money, I doubt that they will care.
P.S. I do hope PCGS adopts your interpretation rather than mine.
Have you submitted coins to PCGS the last three years? It's been almost constant aggravation and disappointment, with absolutely ridiculous customer service that reminds me of a SNL comedy skit. I'm glad TDN did this and is posting here about it. Unfortunately, these critical threads seem to have no effect in stopping the ongoing decay of PCGS.

Just hit the "II" stop button and you can turn pages when you want to with clicks to the lower right album corner or by clicking the arrow keys on your keyboard.
My main complaint with the virtual albums is that some of my coin photos don't show up on the pages, even though they appear when I click on their empty slots. I like the albums a lot, but I've moved over to the CAC registry which accepts PCGS and NGC coins along with CACG coins.
