That’s a real beauty you have there. Strike and color is working good in its favor👍

It’s hard to look at that many nice things at once.

When I first started putting together my buffalo set, strike was of Paramount importance. While this one is far from the monster color, I think it will be exceedingly difficult to find this date better struck.:

I 100% agree with you. That 26-d is hammered 👌

All beautiful but I like that 16-d sure is an eye catcher.

I just picked up these four PCGS Gen. 1.2 Rattlers on Friday from an old collector, where the coins had been locked away in a safe deposit box for decades.

What a great score. I just wish I could see them better.

Joe you still have some great Buffalos.
I only have a few left, most of them in my proof set. Here’s one:

I am not a big "toner guy" so I can't show you any of those.

I have long admired this piece. It is the 1836 Satin Finish Proof Buffalo. This coin "don't get no respect." Collectors prefer the brilliant Proof, but to my eye this piece does a great job of show casing the Buffalo Nickel design.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Here is one I bought raw and was able to photograph before I sent it to NGC. It came back MS64 and I was happy.
