Had a good time this morning.. I had another Pic of my Althea's that showed up today but it wouldn't load.. and this is my afternoon coffee as well... These rolls I'm showing go into my Hoard and they were brought to me by an employee who was out and about this last few weeks...
A new addition for my circulated (but not chopped) trade dollar album. At first glance, a common date. But this is the type 2/2 with Large S mm, the second scarcest variety for the date behind the famous DDO.
Good Saturday morning everyone!
My wife ordered some Fall season coffee, so I’m having a cup of maple walnut brew. It’s actually really good and smells the kitchen up nicely.
Speaking of Fall…..how about some Autumn color?
This arrived Thursday from GC. An absolute stunner in hand.
To make @Barberian proud, I cracked this coin out of its NGC AU55 holder and submitted for variety attribution at PCGS. Came back same grade and is now the "top pop" for the variety (WB-22 RP7). It has been cleaned but the crumbling die is the main attraction (and the coin is reverse mounted in the holder accordingly!):

Had a cup of Joe and now I’m off to see a coin collection that’s for sale. The collector was banker who passed and the widow is working through it all.
I see what could be all 15 prestige sets, some small stacks of ASEs maybe. Lots of mint sets. Hard to say if proof storage boxes will have clad or silver proofs or both. And I bet the coins in the albums with stamps are cleaned.
The bank envelope says “$20 misprinted”. That could be interesting.
Hoping for some gold. This is what I have to go on before we meet to go through it all.

I don't know Trade dollars, but I share your excitement because I'm also enjoying some rare die marriage additions to my collection.

Nice! I truly love my varieties. It's a lot of fun and endlessly interesting,
And since one good turn deserves another, here is my 75-S Micro S although mine is only an R4.

The twins. And it’s 4:00pm here, so it’s a Tito’s and soda instead, no coffee this late.

Hey @GuzziSport - I want to take the twins out for a ride.
.
Problem is, we might not come back!

Happy Saturday everyone! A head nod to Halloween yesterday with an orange obverse of an 1844 MS63 CAC Seated Dollar.
Enjoying Saturday coffee with my two favorite colorful fatties 😳😁…
