Mine and my daughters order has been moved to first class shipping.

I got my order in after 23 minutes on the product availability date and it was confirmed five minutes later……but no shipping update as of yet for some reason…🤔😩

Probably has something to do with the shipping method you chose. RGDS!

It’s on the way! Whew! Thanks again for setting me straight! Old age and being retired does that I guess…😉

I'm still stuck at processing myself. The US Mint certainly has my neck of the woods at the bottom of list. I completed my order around the same time as yours. When I bought the Army ASE it took them 2+ weeks to ship. Glad yours is enroute. RGDS!

I used the cheapest method and had it ordered in the first 25 minutes if that is any gauge for you…..

    Mine shipped today, too.

I believe bots are rampant. When the mint changed their checkout process relatively recently it added more clicks to the checkout process than before (especially if you knew what you were doing) which gives them an even greater advantage now.

It’s really disappointing to me that the mint lets these bots win out.

Was anyone able to get one this morning? If no one here did, that tells you everything you need to know.

    As always, just my opinion.

I'm not sure how anyone would have. I was refreshing every ~1sec and already had a coin in the cart. When it switched red, I hit checkout. By the time that page loaded, it was already out of stock. My internet is blazing fast (1Gig) especially at 730AM.

I historically have been pretty decent at checking out at 730, but do not understand how a human could checkout in what amounted to less than 3 seconds (which is likely 2 seconds to generous).

So, pay 5x normal fee for expedited shipping and still wait weeks because it may be independent to your location? That's some strange water right there. Glad I opted for the $5.95. CRZY WRLD!!!!

If BOTS are successful-most of those orders will be cancelled. The USM is all over those automated methods.

Games are being played even on the 1st day under HHL of 1. This is why you see nearly a sell out then after HHL is released literally multiple thousand coins coming available.
They get caught. Just like someone trying to use BOTs —the USM over the last 2-3 years has become smart to all these scammers.
Maybe the HHL should increment up from 1 to 3 or 5; to 10 over a series of hours or days after release.

All of you professors can argue about use of certain words—when we all know that using a BOT is trying to gain an unfair advantage over the normal ordering process for YOUR benefit over others.
When you are found out-which you will be found out-your orders will be cancelled.

  • RelaxnRelaxn Posts: 1,129 ✭✭✭✭✭

The key to a good BOT is creating some latency in it... humans cannot execute at immediate speed so when you code the BOT you must code in latency before executing the commands...

Use the same type for sports gambling and have not had issues.

No doubt it is an advantage, but it's only a problem if it is against the terms and conditions set forth by the seller (USM). It may violate those T&C, but it isn't a "scam" to automate what people do manually.

A BOT gives you no advantage at all when there is a waiting room or HHL. There is extreme paranoia about "bots". Regardless, it is not a "scam" anymore than having faster internet is a "scam".

Received mine today, also. My order status bounced all over the place from the 10th to the 13th, went from received, processing, then to that 'ON AL HOLD' or whatever the hell that was. Called the mint that day, a very nice CSR explained to me that even they haven't got a real grip on that one either, but she did go through a number of orders to see if I had inadvertently changed anything with past orders, and everything was the same between my subscriptions and 'wait room' orders, such as the Army and Laser privy eagles. Next I know, there's a tracking # with ship date of the 13th. Been crazy, but c'est la vie, I'm just glad I got the damn thing

    I'll come up with something.

I was able to hit the confirm order button (for 1 lol) twice today and each time got an error message that it couldn’t process due to high traffic. I got that the other day as well. I don’t think it matters whether it’s in your cart or not for an human trying to order after the HHL is lifted anymore.

    As always, my opinion.

    1. I acknowledge that you don't care.

    3. Bots are not any advantage at all on the day of release.
    4. It's not "splitting hairs" to point out that "advantage" does not mean "scam". It's the actual definition of the word that were referring to, regardless of your NJ colloquialism.

Obviously, you don’t think that utilizing a BOT to gain an unfair advantage is considered a “scam”; we all know the USM would think otherwise.

Arrived and like so many of the US Mint products I receive, it was less than perfect. Very unhappy but if I return it I will probably not receive a replacement that is any better. Sad that after charging $110 the mint can't produce coins without contact marks!!
