Thanks so much for all the advice guys!!

I'm out of town walking around with only my phone.

I super appreciate the incognito tip that was perfect!!

For you, computer people what would have happened that would have caused me to remain in the waiting room so long even after the waiting room was down and then to get right in with incognito

    Thank u al!!!

anyone have the issue where it says HH order limit reached but you haven't purchased yet? my friend has that issue and can't place an order. He's the only one buying in his house, etc.

I had the same thing happen to me - system glitched as I hit the place my order button. Order never went through. I try to purchase one again and it says I've hit the HHL. Any solutions from the Mint experts here? Thanks.

What would have happened is that your phone browser froze and did not refresh the page as the timer counted down. The issue was on your end, not the Mint's. That's why you remained in the waiting room - you weren't actually in the waiting room, but you had no way to know.

At this pace, with the secondary market offer from Pinehurst, and, undoubtedly, others, and with increased awareness after the last two, definitely.

Which is fine. The crime would have been if they held 30K back for future release to a select few with no HHL, and to then later take them back if the secondary market does not sustain.

Thankfully, they did not play that game this time around. Skimmed off 16% for ABPP, and let everyone else have a fair shot at the full remaining maximum mintage. While they are hot. Not later, and only if the Big Boys lose interest. Exactly as it should be.

Unfortunately, there is no quick solution for that that will help you before they either sell out or lift the HHL. My only suggestions would be to check you credit card and see if a charge is actually pending. Otherwise, you'll need to use another account, because no one, not even a phone rep, will be able to push through an order for you while the HHL is in place if the system thinks you already ordered one.

Wow! If the time continued to count down while others were able to enter the site directly, that would definitely be a glitch on their end. Nothing you could do about that, other than, if you know other people can access the directly, doing the refresh they tell you not to.

This item was listed on Doctor of Credit (DOC - website where the some of the best Banking / Credit Card offers are compiled) a few days ago.

Once folks there realized there was a possible flip (although most probably did not realize a HHL), I thought this would be a 1-day sell out.

I was going to link over on DOC to one of the buyers here (who has one of the best offers out there) but I didn't think it would be best to bring that crowd here...so I elected to not say anything. There are plenty of other places listed on DOC where there are buyers...but yeah, for some reason...this one seemed to be a bigger hit than the Army one.

Did anyone else try using the same credit card on different US Mint Accounts/Shipping addresses?

Did it automatically flag a HHL warning?

I never had a problem before using the same credit card across different Mint accounts/shipping addresses.

I was in the Navy back then and never thought about buying some gold and silver at the time. I wished I did.

Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.

In that case, this will likely be very much like the Army privies, with all the wiseguys grabbing way more than 1, and the Mint aggressively purging those orders. So, while the sell out will be fast and furious today, the question is now whether there will be thousands, or tens of thousands coins coming back over the next few days and weeks? Stay tuned!!!

So...if the Navy sold out in approx. 4 hours...I'll give the Marines 2 hours or less to accomplish the same next month!
