He went from critical to stable condition. That’s a good thing.
What’s the old saying? Nothing good ever happens after 2 am? Guess we’ll have to add 12:30 am to the list.

Sorry Vikings fans. I bet on them and now Carson Wentz is probably out for the second half. Oof

Glad he will be ok apparently

I can only imagine he got heckled for sucking as a QB and decided to attack the guy, he is lucky he didn't get shot.

I have seen the blurbs so far only. At first it looked like someone attacked him, and then it looked like he attacked someone and sprayed them with pepper spray over a dispute regarding a parking spot at a bar - supposedly he sprayed the driver in the face while they were in the car.

I'll throw out my "always off-beat" takeaway on this one (admittedly not knowing the full truth of the matter)... Seems like Mark Sanchez might be stupid.

"If you listen to the fans, pretty soon you'll be sitting with them." --- Buddy Ryan.

Hopefully, HC Kevin Stefanski hears this in tonight's dream.

Certainly we don't know what might have been but I don't really see anything that Dillon Gabriel did that Joe Flacco couldn't have done. Perhaps there was some energy to the team with his presence but I think the trade-off was lack of experience which could have helped in the 2nd half and especially towards the end of the game. I think it was all a little too "big" for the rookie.

I have said it before but it bears repeating, the problem with Cleveland isn't the QB, it's the banged up nature of the Offensive Line and the quality of the receivers. The latter needs some attention. Either Cleveland has to pony up the cash on the Free Agent market, trade draft picks for a bona fide number one or use their high picks for talented WR's. Picking up guys like they have been doing with Cooper and Jeudy when their careers are on the downside is not the answer.

So now Cleveland has created, by their own hand, a Quarterback controversy. Do they stick with Gabriel?? Do they go back to Flacco?? Do they give Sanders a try?? They should have made this decision in training camp and it should have been clearly made to the team and especially the QB's involved.

I can't wait to hear what Sanders is saying in the interview room!! >:)

The Jets and Cowboys are all that’s on. These two are deserve each other. The Jets have one penalty after another, but they come back against the weak Dallas defense. The Jets get a nice run, but fumble at the end of it. I think Dallas will win it, but don’t get your hopes up, Dallas fans. Remember who you are playing.

In the meantime, Houston is beating Baltimore 17 - 3. The wheels have really fallen off for the Ravins.

You guys have me convinced and I don't need any more convincing. College Head Coaches are paid exactly what they are worth and I apologized for thinking otherwise.

I actually said, and meant, football coaches. I think the NFL coaching position is even more worthless and they're little more than a cheerleader. I don't say that lightly either because I know how you guys feel about male cheerleaders. You don't go to the NFL games to watch the male cheerleaders! You go to the NFL games to watch the women doing their cheering. I support that too. I'm not into cheer, but if that's what you guys love then love it. Be brave! Nothing but love.

I missed that Jackson was ruled out for this game. I didn't see 31-3 at the start of the 3rd quarter coming regardless.

No doubt. I need to adjust my hot take now. I saw that also on ESPN. He was pepper sprayed and kept coming. The last thing I think the report said was that he threw the driver into the dumpster then had a moment where he appeared to realize what he was doing and then raced off into the dark of night like a goblin.

I'm all about this real-time news correct-who-cares reporting of modern times. My new update is. Mark Sanchez might be Nosferatu. Garlic is a buy.

Going by the +1 point spread favoring the Ravens, one would think the game would of been closer.

It sounds like Mark had a pretty rough night and it seems like, the more info that gets released has just made his situation look even worse.

I’m just waiting to hear if this entire incident started off with a ”Hey Butt-Fumble, you suck!” or not.

Oh well, can't handle his alcohol.......wonder when he gets fired?

Sanchez was in Indianapolis to call Sunday’s Raiders-Colts game. Instead, he was charged with battery resulting in injury, unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and public intoxication — all misdemeanors. Police got a warrant to obtain Sanchez’s phone and clothes from the hospital, the document said.

As more reports continue to trickle in I've now heard that there is evidence that Mark Sanchez may have been taking Tylenol for headaches as recently as last week. Speculation now that this may have been an acute autism attack. Detectives were overheard questioning how much he likes John Cena.

Now that is funny!! POTD material.

--- Also funny: the Lions are up 14-0 on the Bengals, Cincy has 50 total yards in the 1st half!!

Arizona and Philadelphia doing Arizona and Philadelphia things. Philly finally got bit by not putting a team away. Arizona? You just had to watch the worst team in the NFL look like the Patriots dynasty in the second half.

The Eagles only ran Barkley 6 times today in a tight ball game, Hurts is good at short pass run options but to rely on him for the long ball is just not a great idea, he overthrew AJ Brown for a sure TD like a rookie QB, again Barkley with 6 carries which is confusing but that's NFL coaching for you

Ex-Jets QB Mark Sanchez acted erratically, assaulted grease truck driver before being stabbed in Indianapolis: cops https://share.google/5lOfT500aN9AfAJ0S

So. apparently Sanchez was doing wind sprints like he was thinking he was at the NFL combine and the guy he mixed it up. with was 69 years old.

    Erratic behavior is an understatement

the best advice I could ever give someone in life is to never, under any circumstance, bet on Arizona. if you do it regularly, you'll eventually break everything you own. they routinely pull stunts like this, but today was the stuff of legend. you would have a hard time making something up this good if you tried

watch the clip below. pay attention to the score, the time remaining, and keep in mind that Arizona lost this game.

    https://youtu.be/UiamBFgBwWE?si=lb0I2VLCq058b4SM

after watching that you're probably thinking to yourself, it can't possibly get any better than that, can it? yes. yes it can.

    https://youtu.be/9OKjFBYZaGI?si=klh4dyN51At3rqKn

and to put the proverbial icing on the cake, Tennessee kicked a FG on the final play of the game to win.

did that really happen? is this real life?

really the most prudent decision you could ever make as long as you're alive

it may take a good year for me to process how a team could possibly string together enough blunders of that magnitude to projectile vomit a sure W in that situation

saw photos of the older gentleman in a hospital bed and they are graphic. he was wearing a neck brace and covered in blood, with savage wounds to his face. so when i read that he unloaded pepper spray and stabbed Sanchez because he feared for his life, i believe it

Pro sports, and more to the point sportswriters/media, are quite the fickle bunch. All of last week they were all on the Buffalo train and spouting about how great the Bills were and that they'd steamroll their way to the Super Bowl. Now, just due to one loss, it's doomsday. Same thing with the Chiefs, last week they were all but out of it and now they're back.

I haven't seen any Philly talk but I bet I would if I looked around. Those are all 1st place teams with the hardest schedules in the NFL so they're gonna lose some games.

They should label that Titans - Cardinals game as The Cardinal Sins game - not sure I've seen two more inexplicable plays go from "we won the game" to "what just happened?" and then lose - especially to a rookie QB and a head coach with a 3-18 record.

    Enjoy your collection!

Regarding the Arizona implosion the ball carrier dropping the ball before the goal line was just a criminal event if your an Arizona guy, the interception was caused by a tipped ball and turned into a classic NFL follies highlight reel

There's no excuse for this loss of focus, but... I like when something like this happens because it highlights a rather melancholy irony of modern sports which seems to impact outcomes much more often than it deserves to...

The game changing because we have the ability to review at a microscopic level the integrity of certain plays.

    Which is great.

But then I'll see a TD called back or a drive stall because of rather random and subjective flags and those game-changing plays are not so meticulously reviewed. Football has become little more than a series of random coin flips. Try explaining to a child what a catch is. Just watch their face. Even they know the NFL is stupid.
