I don't know if there's any more annoying "color man" than Troy Aikman.

"heck of a...." 50 times a game...........laughing at his own "quips" 100 times a game..........freely dispensing generic analysis for 4 quarters

he is, without a shadow of a doubt, the absolute worst

the Romo novelty wore off quickly for me. remember in the beginning when he called a few plays out before they actually happened and everyone wet themselves because they thought he was the second coming of Nostradamus? yeah well after about two weeks he started to grate on my nerves like no other because he started sounding like a 10-year-old in the booth saying inane things and making weird noises

what needs to happen is that any game i watch should be called by Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen. those two dudes, just for me. everyone else should be subjected to Aikman, Collinsworth, Romo or Brady and have the bottom drop out of their IQ

Some of the color guys need to be more black and white. Thinking about it, they have a high hill to climb because of guys like John Madden in 70's and 80's who it at times seems they want to be.

    You described Romo. perfectly!

A couple years ago a fumble happened and it was returned for a TD but it was 100000000% crystal clear the ball carriers knee was clearly down and Romo was screaming when Jim Nance said in a calm no big deal voice "I think his knee was down" and Romo screamed " I don't know Jim" and it was absurdly over the top. seeings how everyone watching knew it wasn't going to be a TD and of course it wasn't

His weird "ehhhhhh's and ahhhhhhhh's" along with a "juuuuuuuuuuust noooot close enough" just goes right through me

Dan Dierdorf was another guy I just couldn't stand, "In this league" was his go. too saying after a big play and he was relentless with it, couldn't stand him

Pat Summerall & Tom Brookshier were a great tandem in the 70s

i've shown this clip before because i'm still proud of my fellow ACU alum (Montgomery), but i'll show it again for our resident Eagles fan to get the juices flowing for this week's slate of games

the combo of Summerall's voice + the roar of the Philly crowd gives me chills every time

the next time i experience the same feeling when Buck & Aikman are calling a game will be the first time

Just another typical game from Murray tonight - time for Arizona to give up on this little guy and move on, it's been 6 years already.......He's just an average QB at best.

Watched highlights and it seems like Murray is always throwing off his back foot or before his front foot is really planted.

last night's game was a microcosm of Murray's career and the Cardinals team as a whole. at times, he (and they) look formidable. but it's never sustained. for three quarters they did absolutely nothing on offense. then, out of nowhere, a switch was flipped and he (and they) moved up and down the field to the tune of two touchdown passes to even things at 20.

but the 64k question is, where was that sense of urgency and that ability to effectively execute for the first three quarters? where is it for the second half of every season? that's Murray and the Cardinals -- glimpses of success that are in essence a mirage

in his defense, there have been many times this season when Marvin Harrison has done him no favors. last week against the Niners he had multiple brutal drops that killed the team. then last night Murray drilled him in the hands on a slant, he bobbled it instead of securing it, got rocked, and the ball ended up in the hands of a Seahawk. in the box score that's an INT for Murray, but the culprit was Harrison.

from top to bottom that entire team is wildly inconsistent and it has to be completely maddening for their fans

It's a common theme for a lot of games where the first 3 quarters look hopeless yet teams just hang around and make it so the 4th quarter is where the game hangs in the balance

Joe Flacco is starting to really hurt the Browns, it might be time for him to hold Dillon Gabriel's clipboard.

I don't know because I haven't seen any of the game, just following it online. I believe that both of the Lions' scores resulted from Flacco INT's which is why I posted what I did, but it would help if I could see what happened.

I only know that the Browns seem to be playing good enough to win but can't afford mistakes.

Despite their 1-2 record going into today's game with the Chiefs, the Ravens were still the second favorite to win the Super Bowl.

i'm gonna take a wild guess that after today's game, they're gonna slip a few notches.

They are what their record shows. Year after year they seem to be the exact team. If a team can stop Henry, Jackson cannot take the team on his shoulders and will them to win.
Although I will add injuries have decimated the defense. Today the Chiefs did anything they wanted and the Chiefs haven’t exactly been a juggernaut on offense until today.

Trying to escape every pressure works against undisciplined, lesser opponents but designing plays works better. I just see the same thing every year.
Not to be a homer but Josh Allen has grown and learned every year. That’s the big difference I see between the two careers

Allen can take contact and use his size to his advantage, Lamar is electric but cannot sustain the abuse that Allen does.

Josh Allen is the best overall QB in the league, one can argue that Mahomes is better and I'm fine with that argument but Lamar I'm not
