Very cool silver bars with reeded edges yet which is a nice feature. What does the reverse look like?

Nice looking reverse. I like they come in a rectangular tube of 20 coins.

I don’t own any, but I’ve seen those in person, they’re very very well-made!
Scottsdale makes some terrific stuff.
Yah, like I said I've been looking at them for a while. I paid up, but if silver keeps going, and I have no reason to think it won't, it would hurt more later.

I’m sure it will be similar to my situation…
I bought this bar directly from Scottsdale back in 2019, I believe Silver was around $15 an ounce at the time the premium was pretty strong. It was like almost 4 dollars over which was pretty difficult for me to justify at the time…
I just looked in my eBay believe it or not. It still shows that purchase…
$369.99
I think I’ve recouped my premium at this point.
In the listing actually still takes you to the same item from Scottsdale and now they’re asking $915.18
Been telling you guys for years that modern graded bullion will have its day. In a world of counterfeiting with no enforcement, the authenticity of high grade coins that have been melted in large numbers results in a significant premium.
I only paid 42 each and I'm going to make money on every one of them after grading fees. I kinda don't care that they're not 18/ea.
I've been making real good money in a niche gold and silver jewelry market, so I got more of that, too. People just pay whatever you ask and don't care and I've never experienced anything like this in my life. I'm just making up numbers half the time.
Really appreciate all the advice you guys have given me over the years. Even if some of it wasn't entirely correct it has led me here.

That’s great if you are!
Yes sir, people who collect them know none of these coins were ever meant to be perfect as we understand them to be today. Just like with anything else keys are important. The low mintages are actually even lower because milk spots were problematic for a long period of time and even got worse up until recently. So there's really not a ton of them.
Sometimes it means making 40 bucks after fees but that random errant top pop toner to the right person makes it worth it.
Some years toned strangely for whatever reason, like 1988s got a weird rusty red to them. Some years get a really nice blue you only see in modern artificial toners (and I submit them in their OGP just to be safe).
There's like way more to it than just modern bullion in a 20 dollar slab and people are noticing.

Recent little pickup.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe these were made by Engelhard?

I'm not saying you're wrong, but
National Refiners was a separate entity,
You may be thinking COLONIAL or ROYAL
That may be it. Shows you how much I know about vintage silver. No wonder I couldn’t find it on Allengelhard. I should stick to coins

Nah, vintage silver has its own degree of cool that the average coins lack
Very cool 👍
Eventually, I will try to track down that variety

My latest, waffle back with ‘reverse’ convex stamping impression of the top line found on the observe.
That’s awesome! I definitely wanna find one of those at some point… I also need a W prefix waffle back.

Bought with blurry/horrible photos. Regretted paying what I did until I opened the package and saw this.
My wife just found this at work today.
Bought these a while back, prospector bars in my BST listing:
No Way Out: Stimulus and Money Printing Are the Only Path Left
Delivered today - love the design

I love that set. Almost pulled the trigger on it when you first listed it. Too bad the 2 oz. isn’t a prospector as well.
I got my Christmas bonus early, not joking.
This came through the shop a few weeks ago, and we had it graded, it arrived yesterday and I absolutely love this coin!
It definitely compliments my sovereign collection!

DMS (Dallas Metals and Smelting) 5.1 oz double logo bar. Any idea what the stamping error (double logo) adds to the value?
.
I have seen that brand before, but not a double hallmark. My guess is that it would add about $30, but there is not much to base that guess on.
People often call these "DMS" bars. But the logo is actually "DMSI" (Dallas Metals and Smelting Inc.).
