I wish I had the photographic skills these coins deserve. I can get details or I can get color...just not both.
If you can only get the details or the color, why not show the color? After all, the thread title is
“Amazingly toned Bust Halves”.

Hope to see some of those in OKC this year Jim! @OKbustchaser
Amazing is in the eye of the beholder I think, but hopefully this gets us somewhere

Turned out to be a cool thread. Nice coins. I have a bust half on my list. I want to add a nice original AU. I'm going to hold out for something nice original color.

I know nothing about this series, but I need one! Any affordable dates to keep an eye out for in AU/CAC?
Your most likely type coin candidates should be those from 1830 through 1836.

AU and CAC CBH are hot right now and very expensive, relatively speaking. Be picky and find one that looks original and has nice surfaces.
Lots of 1820s and 30s coins can be found in AU grades for between $500-1000.

I have only 1 in the collection.
I don't like a lot of toned coins, but this one I had to have.

Well, there are some 15/2's that put mine to shame, but since there was the "oddly specific request" and none showed yet, it does have pretty fantastic toning;
