He's not being black-balled, he's just paying for all the BS hype he put out with a lot of help from his father. Add that to the fact that maybe, just maybe, once everybody had to take a really good look at him they saw through the BS hype. What they saw was a QB that wasn't very good in a class of QB's that isn't very good.
That's an aspect of all this that never gets mentioned. Who was Sanders compared to?? He's compared to the other QB's coming out. This isn't 1983, he can't be compared to Elway, Blackledge, Kelly, Eason, O'Brien, and Marino. He's compared to Ward, Dart, Slough, Howard and Milroe. Is it any wonder teams are opting for better players at different positions??
Maybe Sanders gets picked with one of the 6 compensatory picks at the end of this round. That would be fitting.

At the halfway point of round three and teams do what they do, pick DB's, linemen on both sides and WR's. Seems like what's become a typical draft to me.
"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety," --- Benjamin Franklin
So @perkdog, it looks like the Browns got a QB but it wasn't Sanders. To me it's a wasted pick of the "flyer" type because Gabriel is just too small to be a successful NFL QB, tipping the scales at 5'11" and 203 lbs., not really anywhere near a prototypical QB.
"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety," --- Benjamin Franklin
The next question is: Will Sheduer Sanders be drafted??
I believe someone will pick him but there is a tipping point, a point at which any logical person would take him off of their board and choose another person. That would probably be somewhere in the 5th round.

It's stupid honestly, no reason why the Browns didn't try Sanders there.
To grab that kid who probably won't make it out of training camp over Sanders is ridiculous, I understand the hype BS but they could have thrown a better dart.
I think they are really blackballing him at this point, maybe he actually won't get drafted
Milroe, Hough, Gabriel going before Sanders means he is being blackballed, not a single NFL scouting report or mock draft has any of those guys remotely near Sanders.
If he does end up getting drafted and becomes a starter who is good then be prepared for his "I got receipts" and all that coach prime jibber jabber from last year
It's quite possible and it will be insufferable lol
when guys like Milroe, Slough and Gabriel are being selected over someone who many thought wouldn't last past the third pick, we've blown past it being a talent issue -- it's an indictment of the family name. no team wants any part of the Sanders circus, and that's exactly what it's going to be for whoever ultimately (reluctantly?) takes him.

I suspect that Sanders not getting drafted so far is due to all the negative things that have been talked about other than .......... ism. If what has been talked about is true, Sanders may end up traveling the same general path (a flash that quickly washed out) that Johnny Manziel did. Manziel had multiple negative aspects to him.
If Sanders does not get drafted he will likely be signed as an undrafted free agent and given a chance to show what he can do (both on the field [likely really good?] and off the field [a big question mark and possibly not good at all or even bad]).
If that happens to him he will have an opportunity to mature into a person who is worthy of the respect and accolades that he likely thinks he already has but does not.

As in a trade? If that's what you meant, I think Chubb is still a free agent. If they did bring him back he'd probably be a great mentor for those two rookies RBs that you just drafted though.
Having four QBs is a good thing to have when there isn't one that stands head & shoulders above the rest, usually a situation like that will create a higher level of competition between the group. Didn't the Browns just make the playoffs not to long ago after having a bunch of different QBs start for them throughout the season? Who knows, maybe Sanders ends up becoming that starter for them and if he doesn't pan out, it only cost you a mid round pick.
Sanders going to Cleveland is very funny considering he said he didnt want to play there and his dad tweeted that any QB they draft should pull an Eli not that long ago.
