The Starship Eater card which was taken fom "The Doomsday Machine" has been pretty much been my favorite episode since as a Child I first viewed it with my dad in the early 1980s
It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)
Last Card - sometime I need to look at some others from the box to see if I should grade or not.
These guys freaked me out, watching as a kid.
Assuming you know that they used women to play the Talosians in the pilot. They wanted big heads with tiny bodies and didn't get the look they wanted with men..

Wow, I had no idea. Thanks for the trivia facts. The giant heads definitely weirded me out.
There should a grade higher than a 10 for that card...wow! That's off the grading scale.
Color, registration and centering are stunning...perfect dark background, too! Here is
a recently graded 10 in the current Heritage Auction sitting at $19k with 2 weeks to go...you be the judge.
Look at the registration difference in his face...as well as the overall colors.

I miss CU breaks. A decent portion of my packs over the years comes from those breaks. Steve always took great care of the group.
Yes, Steve has always taken great care with the Breaks including impeccable shipping at the end. There have been some great Break organizers from CU that have mad skills in keeping things clear, concise and well put together.

"Money Changes Everything" and seldom for the better.
I suspect Steve would help us with a break. It’s the insane lift that organizing one presents as the obstacle. Kudos to all the guys who helped me build my collection over the years.

Conundrum - Loving my unopened baseball card collection....but really like ripping too

I agree - a ton of my pack collection is from breaks. They were so much fun.
Doing one now could be hard to fill on certain things. A 1975 mini box would be $333 per pack now. When I first joined up here, we were getting them for $30-ish dollars. Of course, that was not long after the Charlie Conlon's hoard was released. I still have a death grip on my FASC box.
Incredible! I don’t have any of that stuff. I joined way too late. I hope you never sell and just enjoy the hell out of that box for as long as you can.

Nice pulls from the group rips!
Rickeys and Montanas are some of the funnest cards to hunt, but they are TOUGH to get in 9s (or higher). Finally hit a Montana PSA 9 a couple weeks ago... although I thought it'd get a 7 or 8 when I sent it in 😬, was 2nd card from top of a grocery cello.

That is an awesome box to have. I hit a nice 1975 mini Jim Rice rookie. I have to send it in for grading but I think it will grade a PSA 8+.
To anyone that setup or assisted I thank you!
Successful coin BST transactions with Gerard and segoja.
Successful card BST transactions with cbcnow, brogurt, gstarling, Bravesfan 007, and rajah 424.
I'm guessing 1966 based on the picture above the pack, and also the top left of the pack says 1966, which I didn't notice the 1st time around either. LOL

Love the Enterprise Shots. IMHO the the original NCC-1701 (designed for TV by Matt Jefferies) remains the greatest looking spaceship in all of Sci-Fi
It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)
POP 15 - NO TENS
The backs of all those are so nice and beautiful. You needed more 10s!
What does it take to get a PSA 10. Those cards look great.
I agree!!
May your cards live long and prosper!!!
Live long, and prosper.
Honestly, these make me want to go back and watch some of these episodes.

Opened 2 - 1980 Topps Super Cello Baseball Packs from the CU Group Break of October 2022.
Pack #1
Nice, I recall opening a few 81 Topps packs from a CU Group rip and hitting a Joe Montana, OC too but still always a thrill.
It was a great Group Break!! It would be fun to do another sooner than later for sure!!

Pack #2
A BLAZER
Chris you should play lotto a lot. !!
That Ryan looks 10-worthy! Goodness gracious that color pops…and dead centered!

Chris' is a blazing stunner!!!
Chris thats one awesome card i can see in a 9 or 10 holder depends on grader. I could live with it in a 10 if the backs as hot as the front
Diamond canted slightly ( look at his plant foot then the other side) fyi. Look at the PSA 10 for comparison ( thanks Monte for posting the pic)
Blazer for sure 💥💥🥰

That Ryan should be an 11!
Chris' is a high end 10...Superior to the assigned grade of 10 (which it should be when submitted)!
The color and clarity on that Ryan added about 20MPH to his fastball.

Opened 2 - 1981Topps Football Cello Packs from the CU Group Break of October 2022.
Nice Montana RC!
Speaking of Montana, I remember that CU break…I got him..
And some of his friends too..
Live long, and prosper.
Not a huge FB buyer, but I do love the sets from about 76-85.
Love the 85 Topps Football set.

Which year,Chris?

1966 - tough year for high grade cards. Super Tough.
DOH! Can't wait for this rip!
Late 60's and early to mid 70's non-sports
I am sure there will be a mint Namath....
Nice! Can you tell which cards are showing on top and/or bottom?
I haven't checked. I probably won't check. I gotta rip it
