The Trueview photos of these coins (and other coins in my latest two submissions) are off and do not come close to showing what the coins look like in hand.
I'm going to go against the grain a little by injecting a (gasp) foreign coin. Please don't have a hemorrhage! I'll counter-balance it with something of domestic origin.
Now, first the heresy - 1890-H (Heaton mint, UK) Canada Fifty Cents - mintage 20,000. Not a common coin, to say the least, and even less common when it comes to finding one without problems. This is a shoutout to our good neighbors to the north, and the birthplace of my paternal grandfather and maternal great-grandfather.
For comparison, here are the lowest mintages of business strikes for each of the major U. S. half dollar series:
For the curious, here are the lowest mintages for the Canadian and Newfoundland fifty-cents business strikes (of course the population of Canada has always been much smaller than the United States):
Canada
Victoria: 1890-H - 20,000
Edward VII: 1905 - 40,000
George V: 1932 - 19,213 (1921 is the series rarity, with around 75 survivors out of a mintage of 206,398. The rest were melted.)
George VI: 1948 - 37,784
Elizabeth II (silver composition, prior to 1968): 1954 - 506,305
Newfoundland
Victoria: 1888 - 20,000 (the entire series contains 15 dates, of which 12 have mintages less than 80,000)
Edward VII: 1907 - 100,000
George V: 1911 - 200,000
As you can tell, I like Canada's fifty-cent coins, the workhorse of the early Canadian monetary system.

Odd. I'll get my walkers out of my SDB this week and find out what is up. I'll call PCGS tomorrow morning to see if just a glitch or something. Unless I sold the coin and they sent it in for an upgrade? Can't believe I sold that coin. It's not on my sold list for walkers. Oh well. I'll update as soon as I know.

The reverse of the Walker is amazing.
Thanks, for the info and kind words jayPem,
I've bought several CBH's from Lance, all gorgeous coins, never disappointed.
I have a lot of half dollars; this is my coolest one:
Here is a half dollar that I used to own. I regret parting with it while it was raw. It subsequently graded PF67+.
No reason why it should not be part of the continuing half dollar parade though.

Keeping it rolling. All were purchased as raw off eBay except the 1848 (GFRC).

Thank you sir! I get a lot of pleasure from seeking and finding these shiny jewels.
I guess I should find a nice Barber half.

Attractive is the bigger common denominator here.
The continuing parade makes its 2024 appearance on the last day of winter.
My only new half dollar, acquired last month.
So what new half dollars do you have to add to the parade?

I've been pretty busy with half dollars lately:
A bunch of circulated commemorative halves. Slots with the wrong commemorative usually represent slots where the coin has been slabbed.
