Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen! I would like to start a new recurring thread for people to post the most gormless coins they stumble upon over on the Bay of Fleas. Bonus points if you have already reported the piece to their steam-powered Turing Device and been told that it doesn't see anything wrong with the listing. Feel free to re-report any or all of these duds.
He also has a 1922 No D listed with two stolen pictures of completely different grades.

In research, he admitted uncertainty openly. “If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?” This shows humility. Even a Nobel laureate accepted doubt. I think they used the AI description generator that eBay now has for that tidbit. Possibly it picked up on the P and the $1 in the title or what the lister selected in the listing options and turned it into a grade. I used it for a couple of listings but stopped as the descriptions included things like 'This would be a great investment for a collector' etc. which may or may not be true.

It’s the worst counterfeit Bicentennial quarter I have seen. I wonder where the “G Mint” is?
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible.
