He will surely be missed by one and all. I had stated long ago, “he was truly a corner stone on this forum. “
He always had something good to say and share with us all. It will be tough not to see his @ricko handle in a response to a discussion. Prayers to his family.
Rick, let us know if the pearly gates are deserving of one of your “Blast White” stickers.
RIP🙏

Sad news. R.I.P. Ricko and condolences to his family.
Ricko gave me props many times over the years when I posted photos of blast white Cameo Proof silver coins that I collected over the years. I always enjoyed his posts. As a farewell tribute to Ricko:
RIP Rick, I only knew you through this forum, you were always very nice to me. Always answer the questions that I sent to you, gave me your honest inputs, and never a negative word, no matter how stupid my question.
So sad to hear this news. I could always count on @ricko to post a message or give a like when I wrote up a coin show. He love show reports and used them to gain information about the hobby. RIP, you will be missed.
Such terrible news. Ricko was a true gentleman here, commenting on anything and everything without any drama at all. We will miss him and his sense of humor. There's no replacing a guy like this.
RIP, rickO

I was reading the ANA show reports and I consciously noted no RickO response especially from @PennyLady report which is really out of character. RIP RickO you are missed!

Since I had RickO's contact information from a previous interaction I did a little digging.
It brings me great pain and I am sorry to say that it looks like we have lost RickO.

That's sad news. I've enjoyed Ricko's posts as the champion of blast white coins. When I joined here, I liked dark coins for their appearance of originality; he gave me something to think about. I'm more inclined to check surfaces more now and select lighter-colored coins these days.
I haven't posted in a while but lurk from time to time. I saw Ricko passed and had to log in... Ricko was a great guy. It might be nice if someone could reach out to his family and let them know how many folks here were positively impacted by him!
Oh... Wow. I've only known him for the last year or so from my forum interactions but always enjoyed seeing his interactions and having interactions with him. He was a bigger than life character around here... And will be sorely missed!
R.I.P. RickO
He wanted a Texas state quarter, sent him a couple beauties and a handful of other fun things...he was so thankful and kind, and funny.
Looking through my private messages with him...
Never knew him in person but I'll miss him.
He contributed to my coin happiness for certain and so many others I'm sure. Grateful for his presence and influence.

I am so very sad and shocked to hear this. He was such a positive influence on these boards, so much a cheerleader. He always had nice comments on my show report and I looked forward to hearing what he had to say about the wines I posted. Such a good guy, my heart aches for his family. Cheers Ricko, rest in peace my friend.
Shit! Can't believe this happened! Though I never met him, it somehow felt like I had met him. He usually posted to almost every worthy thread on this forum, and in a positive manner. Though we disagreed on toned coins, his presence and posts were always welcoming. He will be greatly missed and far more than some of those banned users some people seem to pine over endlessly.
RIP Ricko, you were one of the great ones on this forum.
I am heartbroken to read this!
Though I never met him in the flesh, we did exchange many messages through the board here and I really valued his contributions here.
I very much valued his steady hand in welcoming newcomers and offering help when needed.
RIP Ricko…

Very sad news. While I didn’t know him personally you got a sense that he was a kind and genuinely nice guy from his post. Condolences to his family and friends.

I had an extra 2021 peace dollar which I sold to him at cost - such a great guy. Gave me good advice on my bad behavior once…. I needed it - always respected him so much after that…
