This was recently available from DLRC. It has a nice strike which is something I specifically look for and the luster is great, lack of die clash is a nice bonus too. Overall I am very pleased.
Coinfacts info for 1926 states that these "come nice" but I had some trouble finding one that I thought was an acceptable upgrade.
Anyway here it is, PCGS 66:

    Very much of an early die state blazer. Also appears to have some contrast between original nickel, gold and some violet undertones which enhance eye appeal IMO. Congrats!

    Thanks all! I've still got a handful in my set that I want to find better examples for but I'm not in a rush.

    There are a few small marks here and there. I imagine that DLRC sent this to CAC, but I'm not positive... I wonder if they would tell me if I asked now that I own it...

    I assume you're talking about the second coin, not the OP one?

    The OP coin is nice and bold, but not the sharpest strike.

    It's a tiny bit mushy on the obverse.
