Why did I sell.....for the money
Why do I regret it.....because I love high-grade Morgan's, it really is a choice piece and perhaps a 68, though it is held back by the obverse/reverse toning differential, and I sold it cheap to turn a quick profit.

The 79 S Morgan has an obverse die (at least one) with DMPL surfaces that was paired with a non-PL reverse. It made some great one sided DMPL's, at least for awhile. That one appears more PL obverse but with the cameo and I wonder if it is the same pair. I have one but there was a 79 S 68+ (one sided dmpl) that sold through a dealer that had the big wow factor.

Some very nice Morgans here... 67+ and 68's are amazing to look at.... I do not have any in that lofty region. A few of the reverse images here (without tarnish) are amazing. Cheers, RickO

I've always wanted to own a 67 Morgan. I have yet to purchase one. My highest graded so far is a 66+ with beautiful PL surfaces. Someday!! Thank you all for sharing your gorgeous eye candy.

I am sure that this thread was intended for older Morgans but just wanted to throw in an MS 70 of the Denver mint 2021 anniversary Morgan with the lowest population of 9,237 amongst the series.
