    That's a really attractive coin but is a classic silver commemorative, not a half-cent.

    The error was a deliberate one. The deep red-brown patina on the Lincoln commemorative half looks like it was made from copper. Here's the unedited TruView that more closely resembles the coin in hand under indirect light rather than the edited "glamour shot" I provided to show off its color.
