Just received the email, I am sure most of you did as well. Thought I would pass the info on. I don't even know what original prices are so do what you will with the info.

Too bad they don't run a 40% off the AGE, Platinum and Palladium coins. Those would probably still be priced high but closer to melt.

Got me to buy a 2021 silver proof set. So I guess it worked. I just could never see paying $105, with only two quarters in it.

Just placed order for all three sets.

Silver Proof set is $63.00, Proof Set is $19.20, and Uncirculated Set is $15.15. Total was $102.30 with shipping.

So for less than the normal catalog price for the silver set, I will receive all three sets.

The code I got looks like it may be unique to each person. I handed mine out. Maybe someone else isn’t ordering or can verify it’s not unique.

It’s unique. I just asked my wife to check her email.

I've done more then my fair share of purchasing from the Mint this year - I wonder if they're leaving someone off the offer who actually purchased that set already?

That could be. I did not order anything this year. They were trying to pull me back in.

I am going to sell my code for $1,000 on eBay!

Very interesting for the mint to take this path. It almost seems like they are starting to think like a business vice a government agency.

I raised hell over the phone about the colorized Purple Heart so I don’t much care. I too have spent many many dollars with the mint. 😁

No email for me, checked in spam even, and they're def individualized, I saw 2 very different ones friends shared.

Meanwhile they told me 3 to 4 more weeks till I get a refund for a silver Liberty with a nasty spot (I kept my others, despite the rim issues).

It's just great knowing that what we bought is now worth 40% less than what we paid

Yea, it frosts those of us who bought the 2021 silver set at the inflated price to keep our date sets complete. :/:#

No email. However, if there were interest, I would have bought long ago. Interesting marketing though.

No, I bought 5 oz. Apmex bar for $111. Just lost the will to fight for 1oz of $90+ silver 😁

No email here - but I bought the silver set last year already (maintaining the continuity of my silver proof sets).

Don't like this tier marketing. Not necessary.

It shouldn't. This is often the case in retail. And we all know that 90+% of Mint products are cheaper on the secondary market. If you buy it direct from the Mint when they first go on sale, that is a conscious decision to pay a premium to get one early.

I disagree. Whatever happens in the secondary market is fine. When a seller, who has monopoly position, it stinks. In the past, the mint melted the leftovers. Now it sells them at a discount.

How does this help future sales?

Wondering if pricing will remain stable hurts future perceived value.

Every other retailer does. Are you mad at Walmart when they put the pants you bought last month on sale this month?

If I buy something from the Mint, I know exactly what I'm doing.

Retailers generally have a primary mission to achieving profits, with competitors that sell similar or identical product. The Mint has exclusive license with a primary mission to produce and distribute coins and medals for use in commerce.

Apples and Oranges. Because they are different, the tactics should be as well.
