IMO, this is just the mint playing marketing games and while not a "loss leader", they don't mind not really making the profit on this particular issue(s) as they have big fish to fry in that they have kept a general relative frenzy and flipping environment, if even for only short periods of time, for nearly all the schlock they make.

Oh well...I bought my 12 Mankiller "S" specimens on eBay, dipped them with alcohol, and have already placed them in a long term storage tube...so I'm happy.
Wednesday morning I was able to check out what I had carted the week prior. It was fast and I think I got lucky with the timing of the refresh. This morning I saw the bags and two roll set available but did not see the 3 roll set come available. If there were only 53 sets remaining before the Wednesday sales I can't imagine more than a few sets can still remain. I expect that any further attempts will be left to those having a set in the cart and the luck of the "refresh timing" as I call it. I think the chance to cart one one day and check out another day is going to be slim to none. Looks like I'm done with this release and can start sleeping again. Good luck to the rest of you morning hunters.

I buy them because I like them, but a large number of Mint customers buy them purely to flip and make money. I have never sold a coin that I bought. I guess that's the definition of a collector.
I wish the Mint would experiment with minting to demand. I recently bought a coin from the Netherlands like that. The mint kept sales of the coin open for a month. You could order any amount. After the last day of the month, sales were closed, and the only way you could get the coin after that was on the secondary market. Final mintage was not determined until after the moth ended. This certainly kept the collectors happy.
So far the Mankiller has released more than the previous versions this year. The change from last week (7,567) to this week (7,575) is only 8 boxes. Based on what I read here from last Wednesday morning I'm sure they sold more than 8 boxes. Not sure when or if they will release the "remaining" 45 boxes.
My enrollment last time was moved down from 5 to 4 before the order was placed. I moved it back up to 5 as soon as I noticed it, not that it made any difference. It was still at 5 a day or two ago. I looked just now and it has been placed at 3 and I cannot adjust it any higher.
It is interesting that the "available count" is so high an hour before start time. I also find it interesting that the available count is actually the full product limit amount if you swap the numbers in the 2-roll and 3-roll offerings. Looks like someone swapped the availability amounts between the two. Either way, why is the available count so high, the enrollments should have knocked the number down considerably.

I got the carted ones no problem. Paused after the order accepted window and then opened a new window and saw the add to button was active. I couldn't add any more to cart because they were not available, Overall this is the longest window of opportunity I have seen this year for this series. A guy could have easily carted and checked out this morning.
Always that guessing game of how many to add to the cart on the morning offerings. You chose your amount well. As we all know it stinks when your one over the quantity available.

My enrollment last time was moved down from 5 to 4 before the order was placed. I moved it back up to 5 as soon as I noticed it, not that it made any difference. It was still at 5 a day or two ago. I looked just now and it has been placed at 3 and I cannot adjust it any higher.
I also see that the enrollment order is "Processing".
3 here as well... disappointing.

I also find it interesting that the available count is actually the full product limit amount if you swap the numbers in the 2-roll and 3-roll offerings.
