    Assuming that long scratch on the reverse is on the holder i will say 66

    I don’t mind at all. It could easily be the lighting, but the eagle’s neck, breast, right-facing leg and right-facing upper wing areas look as if they might be displaying light friction.

    I'm afraid it might be an AU 58. I think I see slight rub on Liberty's breast and the luster looks slightly compromised/muted.

    I hope I'm wrong.

    At first glance, it does have the look of a 63 or 64, though.

    I think your pics are throwing a lot of these guys off
    I say that's a MS66
    The few tics in the obverse field keep it from a 67

    I would have said 58+ but I don’t think plus grades were in yet. It’s way too preserved for a 63. Maybe it’s the lighting but I’m seeing a lot of rub.
    Whatever it is I think it’ll upgrade, maybe.

    Because of the strike for this date, it might have gotten a 63, but I will stick with my first thought about the rubs and that is for a 58. Don't get me wrong, that is a beautifully struck 33S. I really like it.

    Thanks for the comments so far. The pics are scans from my scanner.The coin has nice luster that doesn't show with a scanner. The coin also has a CAC green sticker on it. I will post the reveal this afternoon. There is no rub that I can see and no scratches.

    It looks like an MS64 to me.... If there is luster as @1946Hamm says above, it could go 65. Cheers, RickO

    Even from good images, meaningful grade guesses can be difficult. From scans, they're largely a crapshoot, as evidenced by the wide range in this thread - Au58-MS67.

    Hard to tell from those pics. Could be a 58 or a mid-MS grade. In any event, it's a great looking coin. B)

    I'm stuck with either 58, 65, or 66. If the coin has no wear, then it is a 65 on the holder with the CAC sticker indicating it should be a 66.

    I saw the same concerns on my iPhone last night, that Walkerfan and MFeld see, but saw enough positive attributes to lead me to believe the lighting and photos were deceptive and detrimental. I'm sticking with 64 as it's in an OGH, but 65 wouldn't surprise me.

    A CAC sticker on a 65 coin doesn't indicate that it should be a 66.

    It would have be seen in hand. The photos are washed out. As others have said, there may be some light rub on the high points.

    I thought those looked like scans.
    You can see where the luster swirls in the obverse fields, the sort of dark area. From that I would interpret these photos as showing a coin with very good luster.

    In an OGH my guess is with the 5's. I can see a case for a technical 58 depending on how you interpret the images.
