Top of the morning Cardboard Connoisseurs!!

New to my collection is a near complete Wax Box of 23/24 unopened 1971 Topps Super Wax Packs verified by BBCE.

I checked the backs of the packs and the following HOF'ers are showing in three that I noticed. Willie Mays, Carl Yastrzemski and Willie McCovey.

    Hey UFFDAH,
    That's Cool!
    :)

2008 Topps Heritage Chrome Max S. Rookie...... low pop. 13.........I'd love to find his "refractor" parallel. Both are plenty tough.

Nice Max. Heritage sometimes can be found at a sneaky value. Only modern baseball I still really collect

@rexvos.... someone is looking for over 3k for this card on ebay currently..... crazy ask ~ maybe at some point in the distant future ~ heritage has plenty of opportunities with their refractors and retrofractors in the 2000's..... some nice upside IMO. I did snag the Kershaw RC in the real one auto several years ago for real cheap in a PSA 10..... I wish I had gotten the Red INK as well.... I could have but was light on cash at the time.

@vintagefun hss a self subbed red ink 10 Kershaw. I have tried prying it from him once, but he is a Dodger fan. So there’s that

@PaulMaul ... at the very least he should have been cast by MGM in a kick ass Jim Brown film of some sort..... Dave MAy, John Milner, ~ how about Gary Redus?

Well, it's obviously off center and I know that would be a deal breaker for many collectors. But other than that? This is a really, really beautiful specimen. And while even I typically prefer centered cards, this card was just too affordable and too sharp in every other way to leave it for someone else to grab.

    1953 Topps #1 Jackie Robinson

    >

PS - Since I'm curious by nature, that little sliver of visible card at right on Jackie is that of Hall of Famer Ed Matthews

    Yes it is!

Got another batch in today but I've been outside shoveling most of the day so I'll add those sometime tomorrow as I'm sore and tired.

That Jackie Robinson looks great -- imagine finding the Miscut/OC Ed Mathews that goes with your card! What are the chances???

Thanks GRP. I like Chronicles because of the variety but since there are so many different looks it's hard to tell which are parallels. Glad I scanned the back and saw the serial number.

I should buy a scratcher today to push my luck.
