Wow amazing centering!!. How is the back?
1 whose price goes up; 1 going down!
Balco758...
Usual off-centering on the back for 73s but slightly better than normal for the issue.
Brown rookie has some great corners and centering - awesome looking card. Keith Jr has been looking at them for a while.
Happy New Year everyone!!
My biggest card purchase to date.
I sold my 58 Brown PSA 8.5 privately for a record price to help make it happen. I still have my 58 Brown PSA 8 that I pack pulled.
Thanks KC. Although I think UFFDAH just dropped the mic..!
Always tough to follow up a post by UFFDAH, especially with lower-end pickups like these:

New Year's present from Mr. McAlister:
First cards of the new year! Here’s to 2022!!!
2004 spx
1989 topps psa 10
1959 phillies
Phillies of the 70's
The two OPC cards were my Christmas present from my brother. We have been buying each other baseball cards for Christmas for as long as I can remember.
The Drysdale I really liked the centering and it pairs nicely with the Bunning I purchased last month.
Amazing centering on that Drysdale. 57’s are so hard to find nicely centered.
WOW Chris! HUGE congrats! Not sure you can top that one of the GOAT!
PC Walter Payton - Bear Down!
A Christmas gift from my son, for my Cubs PC. Great photo, with the high leg kick.
This one is pretty special: the beautiful photograph below depicts one of the most accomplished superstars in the history of sport on the day he revealed himself to be the greatest champion the basketball world would ever see. He left high school completely raw with a talent for leaping and a desire to win but not much else. While his size and athleticism were evident, his skill level was so underdeveloped that he received but one Division I scholarship offer: The University of San Francisco and coach Phil Woolport. At this time, freshman did not play on varsity so the new recruit continued to hone his skills over the summer before freshman year and started to believe that basketball and college would be his way out of poverty. The coach’s offensive and defensive systems suited his skill set to a T and along with K.C. Jones and Hal Perry, the USF integrated team roster became the first varsity college team to start three black players. His sophomore campaign was marred only by the racism he’d experienced, as he improved his game in nearly all aspects as did the Dons. But it was the following year, on March 12, 1955, that the Dons of San Francisco would win their first of back to back National Titles, this one against Oregon State, largely on the back of a spectacular performance by their center, Bill Russell, who would go on to one day make the Basketball Hall of Fame after another college title and player of the year honors in 1956, a gold medal as captain of the Olympic team that summer which was then followed by an NBA career that featured 5 MVPs, 12 All Star appearances and 11 championships in 13 magnificent seasons.
He is number six, depicted below, boxing out the shooter: fresh faced, rail thin and all potential.
1955 National Basketball Championship - USF vs Oregon State - Bill Russell Final Four MVP
Post Script
For anyone interested, I’ve included a link to the box score of this game, in which Russell lead all scorers (29) and rebounders (16) in the 57-56 victory over OSU.

@UFFDAH ...... if you need any help paying your electric bill ~ I'll call ya.
Needed this Rose '84 Tiffany for the set registry...... pop. 1/17... how is that possible?
Perhaps I don't understand what you mean by 1/17??
@daltex. ~ it's a population 17 in PSA 10 according to the PSA population report... incredibly low number for an 80's card but than again its Tiffany...
Pretty limited set. Less than 3000 10s overall, including just 23 Ryans, for example. When I see a pop number like 1/17 I think that it means that there is 1 in the grade and 17 higher, but that's obviously not what is meant for a 10.
@daltex .....I did get the Ryan earlier last year...........case came cracked so I may send it for re-holdering when things settle down over there.
I was able to pick up the original TB12 rookie card last week. I'm extremely excited to add this beauty to my personal collection.
added a HOF RC. My first 1940's card.

2009-10 48 Bowman Magic
2020 Legacy Bronze Mini Josh
2020 Legacy Bronze Mini Justin
2020 Legacy Bronze Mini Patrick
Am really excited for these two and cannot stop looking at them.
I have been searching for the right '56 Clemente in a 7 to no avail. This 5 popped up on the Net54 boards and I couldn't pass it up. The color pops in person and the centering is outstanding on both front and back.
The 1966 Bears Play featuring Sayers I didn't even know existed until I saw it in an auction a couple of weeks ago. I was thrilled to win it. I instantly fell in love with this card as it's simple design reminds me of 1953 Bowman color. I have always been a big Bears fan but never really started collecting much football. I think the Topps cards with no logos turned me off when I was a kid. I have had fun buying Justin Fields cards and this card may well get me to start collecting some of the Bears' greats.
Wow never seen that Philly Sayers, what a great card!

LCS pick up for my Cubs PC. One of my favorite players.
Wow, that Sayers card is incredible. I collect vintage Bears and I too have never seen that card. And the photo was taken his rookie year. It would be a nice companion to his 1966 Philadelphia rookie card. Very cool.
Yes it would look great with his rookie. I did know it was from the same set and it is sort of like a rookie “in action” card. Glad others like it as much as I do.
it is from the same set.
Magic mail day!
i finally got some 96 finest refractors all cards in the picture are refractors. still chipping away at this set. i am not currently ten bronzes cards short. if anyone wants to sell me a griffey jr #24 bronze refractor and a kirby puckett bronze let me know. i also need about fifteen gold refractors left to get. i am six silver refractors short.
I've been wanting an autographed 1979 Walter Payton to pair with my PSA 9 card for a few years, finally got the best one I've ever seen! Thanks @Scottiec2288
If only I used grammar correctly - I knew not I did know
Sent super express this week, just graded yesterday. Was just happy to get a numerical grade!! PSA 1 on the way!
I finally bought the red headed stepchild of Barry Sanders Rookie Cards. For the longest time I denied this was a true Sanders RC. Finally after all these years, I'm welcoming the b**t*rd son of mine home into my collection.
Underrated great! 8 career 50+ point games including a 60 point game on Christmas Day 1984
Love when I can find a decent cycling card!
I like the stuff that's a little weird and little off the beaten path and this qualifies. This dates to his rookie year and I recall that terrible headshot well; it would feature a slightly less terrible hairstyle on the Hick from French Lick the following year, making it (for once) pretty easy to decipher the year of issue on something undated.

Agreed that Bernard King doesn’t get enough recognition. His career numbers would have been a lot better if not for that terrible knee injury. I’ve been meaning to grab one of his rookie cards.
love the Edge!
