The pro pics are exactly how it looks.
With some good light and some angles the colors show up.
Bonus points for Overton if you're ambitious.

    Grade ... ummmm ... VF20?

    For the bonus ... pretty sure that's a 105a

I'm in the 35-40 camp. Quite a bit of luster still remaining. Nice looking coin. The more I see Bust halves posted on these forums, the more I'm starting to think they might be my next endeavor. So in other words, I blame all of you if I end up having to attend BHA meetings. (Bust Halves Anonymous) :D

Need a Barber Half with ANACS photo certificate. If you have one for sale please PM me. Current Ebay auctions

    Super cool!
On my list of coins to find, first use of the obverse before one of my favorites, the 106.
Interesting feature between the drapery and star 1.. looks like a heavy set of cracks at first, but I think it's one crack and a couple clash marks..
I'm gonna drop a 40 just because I like it alot (and the reverse..)!

WOW! Obviously the right person didn't submit that coin. Absolutely no consideration for the deteriorated die effects to the details.

We see similar "conservative" grading with the 1814 E/A.

And the 1809 O-105 (weak chin variety) as well as others.

I would have guessed a 30... but more interesting is the date... The War of 1812... Good historical piece. Cheers, RickO
