The final NO is from the Orange County Convention Center they have stated there are NO restrictions on entering the Convention Center.”
Seems the message from the convention hosts (as I interpret it) is that the virus is endemic and those who attend will need to accept this assumption or avoid the show.

Me too. I'll be the guy with the mask on.
I'll be attending the show as well. At this point, 2 years in, I don't really have a problem with their position. We've all had ample time to learn how to operate in the time of Covid.
That's good news!
Stay safe and enjoy the show all. I believe I will attend my first FUN next year. If I plan properly it can be my first major function following my exit from 45+ years in the work world!

Sorry, Andy, I'm totally disgusted by that statement. How many millions of people over the years have been killed by smoking? As someone who has had Covid, gotten my two shots, the booster, and even a flu shot, I have no problem being around the unvaccinated (if you can even tell who they are). On the other hand, as someone who is severely allergic to cigarette smoke and also don't want my lungs polluted, you can keep all the smokers at your house.

Covid cases in Florida are at their highest levels now for the entire pandemic. Friday, they had 31.683 new diagnosed cases of covid.
The good news is omicron infections in the UK have resulted in roughly half as many hospitalizations as the delta variant.

Reluctantly getting my Booster shot today. Don't know if it's too late to help but hopefully it won't hurt. Tried to get wifey on board last week but took the weekend to convince her. I think it's been around 5 years since I was able to get her to come with me to a show!

Nah, she likes shiney rocks surrounded by gold. Sometimes those shows could get pricey if the right(wrong) jewelry dealer set up.
Interesting and good to know. As for me, I'll follow the normal precautions and pay attention to the case loads. It's not really a big deal to do that. Even if they had some restrictions/rules for entry, I'd still go. In the big picture, it's not that f****** hard.

Pre Covid, I went to Dalton and decided to fly.
Could have driven there faster with all the weather delays both ways.

I canceled my FUN trip this year.
Just too many risks beyond the travel.
Might look at Baltimore or summer FUN.
Dalton is a long haul but close enough to my wife's family to make it worthwhile .

Yes, I was outside talking to my neighbor. I don't know if it was transmitted by air we were only an arm length away or if she touched the hand rail and then I touched it. After about 10 minutes of talking she said "Oh, I think I may have Covid" I said "thanks for telling me, where's your mask" I think there is a real good chance if I had a mask on I would not have got it. Within 18 hours I knew I had it. I was the sickest I have ever been in my life. That's why I was absent from the forum for a couple weeks.
Wash your hands & wear a mask!
Edited to add: Four days before I got it I lost a long term friend to it, she had both shots but no booster. When I got it this was on my mind and my first thought was oh great I'm next.
