Moderators I have a site usage issue. Is this a Bug? Will this earn me a bug badge?

The threads are not indexing properly. Some will go to the next new post in a thread and some will not. The ones that don't index also show posts as new I have already read.

Anyone else experiencing this?

    Yes there is an issue with the indexing or scrolling.
    Did you report it?

    Best that I can do is give you a copy of the one that I have.

    How do you report it. I thought that was what I was doing when I flagged @HeatherBoyd

    Try opening a discussion " Moderators I have a site usage issue"
    Then explain what the issue is.
    Ask if this is a "BUG".
    They will close it right out or help you.

    I am not quite sure what the OP's issue is, but I do notice one thing that may be related:
    If you read a thread that contains posts from now-banned members, the thread does not properly get marked as read.
    For example, https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/810249/opportunity-in-uranium
    is a thread with posts from a banned member. If I read that thread, then look at the main page for the PM forum, it still shows as not read.

    What if you read a post from a band member?

    I had one of those until dieselgate prompted me to sell it back with over 50,000 miles on it for all but what I paid for it new!

    I'm bumping this hoping a fix can be applied! @HeatherBoyd

    It's really frustrating and takes longer to scroll the forums since a thread no longer goes to the 1st unread post. What I really find funny is it doesn't affect older threads and some newer threads are not affected also. But the majority of new threads are affected.

    If this bugs you please speak up and maybe Heather or who ever needs to can report it to their software folks!

    Edit to add, the new posts emblem stays even after you have read a thread.

    We've let the forum support team know about the issue.

    The bug badge is earned for pointing out errors on PCGS software, like one of our PCGS apps.
    Errors on the forum do not quality as the forum is run by a third party, apologies.
