My prettiest example of a 1795 C-1a Liberty Cap Half Cent .
It used the #1 Obverse and the "A" Reverse.
It is on a thick, lettered edge planchet, weighing in at 111.2 grains
Rarity-3 (450 estimated examples)
In my opinion, a very fine obverse and a extremely fine reverse,
Probably cleaned and re-toned at some point in time.

Agree with it probably being cleaned and retoned, but still a very nice example.
That's got some meat left on the bones. Very nice, the cleaining doesn't bother me too bad with that much character.

I like it a lot.
That is a very nice example of the Lettered Edge type. Good detail on both obverse and reverse, and no planchet damage.
I have an example of the same type. From the Norweb Collection, 1988.
