1795 Liberty Cap Half Cent

My prettiest example of a 1795 C-1a Liberty Cap Half Cent .
It used the #1 Obverse and the "A" Reverse.
It is on a thick, lettered edge planchet, weighing in at 111.2 grains
Rarity-3 (450 estimated examples)
In my opinion, a very fine obverse and a extremely fine reverse,
Probably cleaned and re-toned at some point in time.

Nice details and planchet.
Agree with it probably being cleaned and retoned, but still a very nice example.
That's got some meat left on the bones. Very nice, the cleaining doesn't bother me too bad with that much character.

Agree... likely cleaned and retoned, but the surfaces are super nice and there's a lot of detail there. I like it!

That is a very nice example of the Lettered Edge type. Good detail on both obverse and reverse, and no planchet damage.
I have an example of the same type. From the Norweb Collection, 1988.
Yours is a great example also and about the same condition as mine,
Jon
That is a really nice coin.... Certainly one that would get my attention at a show or shop. Cheers, RickO
Amazing that the little sister survived all these years with that much detail intact! Really cool!
