Anyone excited by the PCGS gold box?

I have a number of the mint and silver 35th anniversary boxes. May look to get a gold or two as well.

Looks like it will be the last box of the year.

    I want one but my coin guy will end up selling them for 5 dollars so I’ll have to wait.
    I am not sure I’ll be submitting enough coins rear of year to qualify.

    Not really. I can’t put NGC graded coins in it. I can’t put PCGS graded coins in a NGC box. But this box fits both!

    Nice. It would be nice to have boxes that hold slabs from both TPGs.

    As a gold type collector I think this box is basically mandatory. I will need to get one second hand, as I have nothing to send in.

    No, not really……but I would love to find out how to buy the cardboard 10 slot box they mail
    graded coins back to you in. I have several self slabs that fit exactly into those. Nothing else works for these self slab holders. They are super cool but ugh….. need the PCGS white cardboard 10 coin holder.
    I wonder if they make a 20 coin holder. That would be the cats meow

    I have several green boxes (Hunter green), no other colors.... But I do like the new gold box, and would look good among the green. May have to seek out one or two on the secondary market. Cheers, RickO

    When the Morgan's and Peace dollars ship, I plan of sending in 2 submissions of 5 each to get the boxes. Costs a bit more than sending in 10, but probably worth it, at least to me.

    BTW, the orange box isn't unobtainable - just not cheap. 2 on ebay currently.

    I can’t get excited by it. I like an old green or blue box and wouldn’t mind a rattler box. I feel the same way about inserts; I’ll take the old ones. Just my opinion but it seem to me like it’s on the edge of…

    I sent in my six and am looking forward to the gold box. And like so many others, the orange box would be a nice to have, but...

    I've been waiting. 2 months for my submission coins to arrive, 2 orders. This is the only way a delay, can be satisfying?

    They may have gotten rid of them because they are too useful for holding NGC coins >:)

    I think they got rid of the white cardboard box because it scuffed the front of the holders. At least it did for mine.

    That's true. I actually made a post about that with picture examples when they were still current.
    That issue is alleviated by putting the holders in upside-down.

    Pretty much pays for themselves, based on their current ebay price of $50/box (PCGS handling fee $10 + return shipping $20 + shipping to PCGS $20)
