    I'm an avid collector of a number of things, not including boxes or slabs. I do collect coins and medals however.

    Yes, if done correctly.

    The plastic would need to be scuffed to give the paint something to hold on to. You would want to use an ultra-fine paper like 2000 grit or there is a good chance you would see sanding scratches through the paint. There are adhesion promoters that you clean/wipe it with and there are also primers made just for plastic parts. Exterior use only, do not try to paint the inside of the box.

    Edited to add: Hydro dipping them would look real cool! B)
