What Do You Think Series: 1914-D Gold Quarter Eagle

seduloussedulous Posts: 3,104 ✭✭✭✭✭

I haven't done a 'What Do You Think Series' in quite a while. This one was found in the raw for a few hundred dollars and then graded by our hosts. Quality for the grade? what do you think? PCGS #43269177

My personal images:

Gold Shield... So from the True View stash of pics for this coin:

Nice coin. Looks somewhere around 64+ or 65

I do think its quality for 64+ The marks are small.

    62/58 ugh way off....

Hard to tell, but looks like rub on the eagles upper wing.

Love the originality. Beauty. I think a 64 also, not great on grading gold, but I do know that I prefer your photos to the true view in this instance.
