And they are canceling late orders, something stinks (besides me). I planned to try anyway but had to take a dump with two minutes to go. At my age you don’t control the dump the dump controls you.

I had one arrive about 20 minutes ago and it's seems the Mint got a bit tape happy!
Anyone else's arrive today with the back flap and side seams taped up?
I wonder if our hosts would accept a taped up box like that - after the 30 day window - for 1st strike designation!
I agree with you comment that someone got happy with the tape gun dispenser!
Those need to get in before the 30 day window is closed. There's no way those will be accepted for FS after the 30 day window. I had a package arrive from the Mint taped similarly, and thought nothing about the abundance of tape (or the condition of box). Sent it in well after the 30 day window for FS. I received a call from our host upon their receiving it, and our host basically said 'FS is not happening'. Naturally, I explained it was received this way, exactly as anyone in this situation would do, thinking they'd understand. It was a very short call after that.
"One or more items in your order USM11609550 has been cancelled. If you did not request a cancellation, it was cancelled because the item(s) are no longer in our inventory and are not available for backorder."
This one was purchased at 1:20 pm day of the sale.
No cancellation email, and it still shows 'Processing'. I got the order in at 12:56pm....ord #1151XXXX. Now I'll be checking the damn order status every 5-10 mins!
Though, on the bright side, my burnished T-2's are out for delivery today (yahooo)

My order # 1146XXXX ia also showing status as "processing" too. Tried to link a reddit post where there were others talking about cancellation and it went to moderation queue stating that it has to be approved before it can appear in the thread.

Hedging my bet a bit. I just bit the bullet and preordered a PF70 set. (My son and I both have orders in at the mint) at least we're assured a PF70, and he and I can decide what to do when the ones from the mint arrive.
I haven't gotten a cancellation (yet) but if a confirmation email is sent out it should be confirmation that you have the item. After going through the order process and jumping through all of the hoops, and as slow as the process was Monday the USM should have had a handle on this. After the acknowledgement email any reconciling should be done before a confirmation email is sent. I feel for any of you that this has happened to especially since the mint has sold more after the fact.

wow, some of the orders cancelled and they continue to sell a few sets in the morning, that's a hit below the belt
Yah and they enjoy it. Go back to the WW2 ase and age and include every
collector edition and they go unavailable or backorder fast!
Sell em the next day? Sure and day after day at a lousy time open up for a few seconds. Who is in control of this crap. Spitting in their customers faces and doing it over and over. That person has some explaining to do. Remember just to rub it in. They make a fairly nice product and limit those mintages to keep the demand. Not alot of places where you can invest $75 and double it quickly.
well, like my dad still says, time is money, i work about 48 hours a week and consider my free time precious, these people sat on the computer over a hour to get this set, it doesn't matter how much free time they have, everyone's time is valuable

Buyers for the big boys have gobbled up all the BIN's on Ebay that were $350 or below. Now they are gobbling up all the $350 - $400 BIN's. Your minimum asking price at this point should be $450. It will go higher and probably much higher.
God bless America Land of the Free and Home of the Capitalist.
I gobbled up 15 sets in the 290-325 price range. Lots of best offer haggling with a lot of sellers all at once. Ebay's Bids/Offers page in My Ebay is the cat's meow.
Great ! Let us know how many come thru or back out. Curious to see how many early sellers deliver , as they should, if prices continue to rise.

Order # 1154**** from 1:09 still processing and cc charged. Confirmation email received
Mintymint's cancelled order was #1155**** Looks like I may have just squeaked thru based on that, however people said the red box was up until 2:32. I believe the cancelled orders were for other reasons, but who knows.

depends on the prices big sellers put on the graded 70's based on demand for them. The bigger the demand for 70's will increase the demand and prices for raw coins in sealed boxes.

The more I look at the T2 reverse the more I feel something is missing, Too much unused space for my liking.
Then it hit me, it needs stars... I like stars! Maybe they could add the stars to next years production.

My last successful order for this set was # 11702xxx and it's still a go....confirmed and charged....processing
I seem to remember on another thread (one of the Morgan Dollar possibly) that order numbers aren't necessarily in sequence chronologically. Anyone remember?

I am not a huge fan of the new reverse but I like your version better. You should print that off and send to the mint director and the Secretary of the Treasury.

While I respect your opinion I am not a fan o the stars. Not a fan of the new reverse. Lipstick on a pig. But I am thankful this is the last money I spend on ase’s. More for everyone else. Thanks

That plus a niggling feeling about the eagle looking a tad bit like a crow/raven. Anyways, this would be my last year of collecting the ASEs.

There are two in the LESPS
I have a representation of the 3 proofs. T-1W. T-2W. And T-2 S. If I need a half or a dime. I’ll buy them from the silver proof set or maybe bump in to a LE single.
Got plenty of the new quarters.
I am moving on to buffaloes and another series. Still don’t know which.
In the future ase’s only low mintage special finish. Hard to get. I’ll play for fun. Perhaps you and a few others here have helped me see beyond the modern mint issues and become a more refined person. Thanks

Order numbers are sequential. Shipping is not necessarily sequential by order number.
They will peak pretty soon then find their level. It's hard to gauge the timing this year with all the backorders and delays. If someone is running a promo, it may not be active yet.
Seen it change hands as pre-sale for 650 USD on eBay to currently being offered on reddit for 420$, so anybody's guess when mint orders gets finally fulfilled - the hype is just not worth it.

Perhaps you should wait a minute. These are going to be very expensive. These are not “pride of two nations “.

I think I'm good, even with all the BS I had mine by about 12:30 pm the other day, I wouldn't consider it a late order. USM1147xxxx

whats the best way to buy them if you already have them in your cart when it restocks?
