Seen it change hands as pre-sale for 650 USD on eBay to currently being offered on reddit for 420$, so anybody's guess when mint orders gets finally fulfilled - the hype is just not worth it.
Perhaps you should wait a minute. These are going to be very expensive. These are not “pride of two nations “.
Do some research. They are not the Prude of Two Nations. ASEs are more widely collected. But there are other ASEsv with 100k to 150k mintages. They are in the $100 to 150 range. They are not "very expensive". I see no reason for the long term price of these to be higher. And since you paid $90 each for these...
When I was a boy...I'd go in a few coin shops here and there in NYC and Long Island and many of the men (no women in those days) would be informative and patient and nurturing...while some others would be unnecessarily rude and dismissive of this small boy asking a few (maybe too simple or obvious to some) questions.
They were "too busy" to go to the safe to get more than one example to compare, too busy to look for the original Mint envelope or box (because "nobody cares about packaging"), and sometimes too busy to give a quote over the phone even though I needed mom or dad to drive me across town to their store, but only if the price was right.
Well...fast forward 45 years, their stores are all gone, their likely all dead and dust, and apparently original packaging did count for something after all.
My point here is...let's all try to remain civil with each other...occasional typos happen, not everyone eats and breathes this stuff, and now as an old man myself, I think we need to be patient and nurturing of all the new kids "in the store"...or else when we're gone...this board is going to be a very quiet place indeed.

My go to LCS person has been in the biz for 58 years and is getting ready to retire soon. He has zero online presence and did not even want to venture into it. My 16 year old was comparing prices on his phone while we were in the store and the elderly gentleman was very candid about not being able to compete realistically with that sort of online prices.
But the real difference he does make to this hobby is that one is able to see in person and inspect it up close and personal before making the purchase since the online stores cannot fill the void especially for the touching/feeling before buying experience.
He used to be a dealer for the mint and has completely stopped dealing with them citing that they are becoming extremely greedy because the mint is trying a lot of experiments and it will perhaps be a complete egg on the face at some point of time.

Around 1,300 for sale on eBay already with more than that sold.
Price trend from $400 to $350 range will be headed down as they each lower their prices to get out fast for max profit before they are left holding the bag. Snipe hunt anyone?
I have yet to receive a shipping notice for anything I've ordered from the Mint since last May.

If you can get $400 now, take it.
Damn....you probably cancelled your good order, they automatically cancelled the duplicate order.

The typos are the most fun. I enjoyed contemplating the Prude of Two Nations.

...and God forbid if you asked "Is that the best price you can do?"
That usually made their glasses fall off the chain around their necks or their dentures fall out onto the counter!
Just unnecessarily miserable!
I did have to cancel the good order

400 is already out the window

Talking numbers is meaningless at this point...like knowing who's going to win the game in the second inning.
In a year or two, could be $400...could be $1,400...
But I'll be higher than issue price.

If you can't execute the transaction in 1 second you have no shot. At least that's been my experience, the days following a Mint release.

Same here.
I got the uncirculated ASE that was in my cart from yesterday. By the time I was done, it was too late for the set.
