“Forum Giveaway” HAS ENDED, CaliforniaKing Was The Winner! Thanks For Everyone's Participation!!!!!

These half dollars went straight from Mint Collector Rolls into the 2”X 2” flips, I sorted them on a terrycloth towel, did NOT include the end of the roll coins and I handled them with cotton gloves during the process. So, I labeled them “Mint State” I made no attempt to give them a details grade.
These are Not Proof Coins!

Below is a jar of Wheat Cents that I've collected over the years from metal detecting!
There is nothing special about them, they're a common mix of common dates when they were lost!
How many Wheat Cents are inside the jar?

Rules for this giveaway!
How many Cents are in the jar?
The giveaway will end with the first correct guess.
One Entry Per Forum Member.
If no exact guess has been giving by Midnight (Eastern Time) Friday the 6th the prize will be awarded to the person that's submitted the nearest to the correct amount. NOTE! If there should be a case wherein two people have giving a number that is one number low, and the other is one number high the prize will be awarded to the lower (just in case a tie breaker is necessary)
Good Luck!

That is 3lb 4.2oz

Yes! Every Lincoln Cent in that jar has been cleaned, many were spit on and cleaned in the field :D (whatever it takes)

Before I submit my guess, please PM me the weight of the (empty) jar and the platter upon which it’s sitting. 😉

You've got a well trained eye!
But, the weight of the platter is canceled out by the scale automatically if its on the scale when its turned on.
As for the weight of the jar, now that's the problem to solve that I can't help you with >:)

I'm afraid to edit the OP because it might disappear, the first one vanished due to one tiny little edit!
I should have included this point in the rules, "One Entry Per Forum Member"
    Thanks!

You're correct, the jar is included in the total weight, the platter was excluded.
I went back through a few of these older giveaway, and the folks here are WAY to smart to not include a little hiccup in the giveaway :) Actually they're really amazing at how quick they can figure things, "That Darn Jar, is the only problem" my bad :D
