No longer a "Banned" avatar? Propose a new one

The old red "banned" avatar is no more. All one sees next to a post of a banned member is 
and when you click on that you see this:

It's been that way for at least 3 weeks.
The old red avatar was easy to see and members could not use it without being banned.
With the new system if a member doesn't upload an avatar it shows the same as a banned member.
Without clicking on the member name you don't know if they are banned.
I liked the old avatar better or some other new avatar that can't be used by active members.
he's been banned for quite a long time now. years.
Every now and then, someone will bring up an old post and it shows banned for some members. Then some think it has just happened. I feel it would be a good move to have a notice when an old post has been resurrected that is visible at a glance rather than checking the date after reading several posts.

My original avatar wasn't banned but I was asked to change it. Somebody was offended by it. Odd thing was that I picked it out from a forum supplied list. No problem.

It was me who complained. I didn't like the photo of my girlfriend being used that way.
As for a new "banned" icon, we definitely should have one. I don't like the "broken link" image.

here is a quick mock-up. finding a similar font was a bit of a pain due to the odd serifs.
perhaps a smaller shield in between all the lettering or a bigger one with some opacity.
the authenticty unverifable seems a bit overbearing due to the amount of letters. how about A over the U or A/U.
