1913 type 1 buffalo nickel in a "crippled" NGC slab, would you re-holder this coin if you bought it?

Here is a 1913 type one buffalo nickel proof in NGC PF-64 that is in an NGC slab. Do you like this particular slab? And would
you consider getting it re-holdered by NGC if you were to add it to your collection? Is the so-called "green bean" really that
important? Also is this type of slab in itself rare?

    Personally, I'd buff the rest of the reverse sticker off and replace it with a plain white decal of equal size. I do wish NGC would market replacement decals. That would be a game changer.

    I’d look for an appropriate sticker to place over the damaged sticker. Not sure what I would end up with until I found the replacement sticker though.

    I would leave it like it is. Personally I do not care about the reverse branding. I like the coin it appears to be very solid for grade!

    Nice coin. I hate it when the stickers come off, and as a general rule I try to avoid them, but I wouldn't reholder or mind owning this one.

    In answer to the op's questions this is a gen 4 holder, the reverse hologram was/is very easily damaged so you see lots of this generation holder with partial reverse holograms. The gen 4 and 5 holders are the last two of the old soap bar style before NGC went to the style with the plastic having the indent below the label and both are somewhat easy to find.

    I would rather have that holder over a shinny new holder any day, that holder says the coin is stable and has been mostly well cared for. Having the coin reholdered could result in a lower value.

    Best case scenario with a new holder the value of the coin remains the same. Worst case scenario the value of the coin decreases. I don’t think there’s any upside potential. Nice coin by the way.

    I’d leave it be.
    But, I’m a “buy the coin and not the holder” kind of guy.
    That said, if it were in something other than one of the top 3 tier holders, I’d have that thing outta there in a jiffy! :-)

    Just leave it as it is. The damaged NGC sticker is an annoyance but not critical.

    Not "crippled" as the holder is not damaged. No real defect in the minds of most potential owners iMO.
