Well, al410, looks like you were concerned about nothing. Most all dealers are as honest as the day is long. They have to be to stay in business and also they love coins and the collecting crowd just as much as you do. By the way.......nice Morgan!

I like to use all the wisdom and experience this forum has to offer so before doing business with a company I was not familiar with I inquired here. I know for many on the forum this may not be a big purchase but for me it was, so thanks for the info.

That coin reminds me of a Silver Dollar story.......I was 9 years old. My Dad and I were were on "business" trip. A 1954 Chevy pickup pulling a trailer. Going from Southern California to who knows where. Anyway, we stopped for the night in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I remember the cost of the motel was $6. Some kid carried in a suitcase to the room. My Dad gave him a tip. Once the kid left the room my Dad said, "Oh, GAWD! I gave him a buck..I thought it was a half dollar!" He was so upset. Anyway, that motel is still there and its right down the street from the Silver Dollar Bar. Everytime now when I go to that neighborhood I take The Lovely Mrs. Hydrant into that establishment and buy a round or two. And I think back to that day when my old man said, "Oh, GAWD!" and I think of that long ago Silver Dollar. I miss him. GAWD do I miss him!

Nice, circulated, original, problem-free example of a legendary, scarce date and mintmark combo.

It would be a large purchase to me, but I would have had no concern with them at all.
Congrats on a nice coin with history that shows.

First time I looked at this thread I was wondering why somebody bought a 90-CC in VG in a slab for some reason. No idea what was going on in my head at that moment.

    Great coin!!

Back in 1968 I bought 600 unsearched Silver Dollars for $1.75 each. There were 2 1889-CC in the lot that looked like that!
