The slab shot was taken by Rick Snow when he applied the Eagle Eye Photo Seal, and it looks exactly like the coin in hand, capturing the true luster. Unfortunately, the photos from the auction house and PCGS do not capture the luster on the coin in hand. Here's the reverse photo from the auction house:

Thanks for your kind words. With no criticism of our host, since they take over 1,000 photos a day, at times True Views don't capture the luster of the coin in hand. Tough to do with a two dimensional photo, especially with limited time. Unfortunately, this True View shown above in your reply, while showing wonderful detail, misses on the luster.

My modest Flying Eagle. My Father found it in circulation and I sent it to our hosts years ago and will pass it on to my children.

Flying eagle errors seem pretty rare. This is a poor man's example imo but I love it.
And an 1857 graded XF45 by our hosts.

Twenty Cent piece Business strikes were struck only in 1875 and 1876. However, Proofs were struck in those two years, as well as in 1877 and 1878.
But yes, you've "gotta get one of these" (Flying Eagle Cents)!

Some refer to overgraded slabs as Coffins. I like to think of them as Happy Coins.21 -
