Let's Play A Game! I'll call it "Coin Follow-up"

The rules are simple. I will post a coin. _You must post a coin following the previous person's that relates to it in some way and then the next person's and so on and so forth. Whether it has to do with the MM, type, year, etc. doesn't matter, it just has to relate to the previous person's coin. Also, explain what connection your coin has to the previous one. You are allowed to play as many times as you want but give at least three posts in between your own so we don't wear it out very fast. _ Have fun!
I will start

Are we posting what the connection is?
Or does the group just need to figure it out and/or just trust the next poster?

From the 1996 P .5c above, we go back in time exactly 100 years to the same Philadelphia mint and here is what they were producing:

Another half dollar.
In 2006, @ldhair (Larry) started a follow the lead post on the forum ATS. The rules are a bit more narrow but that thread is still running today. Basically you can post the same type coin or any coin with the same date. It makes it a little more focused and challenging. No one has to type or guess what the relation is. Just food for thought.

A 50 cent for a 50 centavo…
Another 50 cent

This forum is so active that sometimes the posts don’t match the previous coin in the way intended because another post popped in while the post was being made 🌞
Mr_Spud
Where's @lordmarcovan !! He used to have Coin Uno game way back when.
Okay, so here's one from the 50c Centavo

We used to call it coin UNO on this forum back in the day. I believe it was started by Lord Marcoven (my spelling is off). Someone should resurrect it, it was about 2005 or so though and probably all the photos are gone
Mr_Spud
I just resurrected the coin uno thread. It’s the original started in 2005, but it’s last post was actually just last year.
But for this thread, here’s a barber to connect with the previous Barber

It might be useful to state or quote the coin you are following as it seems we have multiple coins being followed at a time!
