Had my eye on this for a while. As some of you know, I am working on a Reg. set of Proof Barber's, and I needed the 1892. The date, although common had eluded me....This one suits my set perfectly...She is quite gorgeous. PF-67+ Cam

I've always said Barber either look really good or really bad. I think I'll put that one on the reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaalllly good side.
Congratulations!
If I were going to try to convert a collector of color-free coins to one of toned examples, I'd beg you to join me in my effort, and display your extraordinarily beautiful collection.

Did someone call me?? The coin is very nice.... Not the tarnish, the coin. I am incorrigible. Cheers, RickO
Awesome coin---congratulations!
I look at it this way @ricko Lady liberty is all dolled up for a night out on the town.
That is high praise, and I agree. Stellar example.
Funny sometimes how a nice example of a common coin can be so elusive.
Very pretty! Just beautiful

Great coin for your super collection. I hope you continue to post all of your additions on our forum.
Wow that is stunning - looking at your registry set, this one or your 1914 might be my favorite!
Awesome coin! Top pop too!
Excellent!
Gorgeous set and congrats on the new addition.
I'm not a fan of Barber coinage but that one is an exception! A REAL beauty!!
Wow!

Good eye MJ! That 1914 is a pretty special coin just for the eye appeal, and others have admired the coin as well! It was formerly part of the Eugene Gardner collection, and it currently sits atop the Condition Census for the date. With the smallest mintage for the entire series of 380 total proofs, you have to love the date too.
I knew Gene Gardner personally. He owned my old 1901-S 25c MS67, etc. We talked more about pre-1839.
He would have expressed awe at your set
Stunning color, stunning collection- congratulations!
Very nice

Thanks Colonel! Well, I can't imagine sitting w/ Gene and his coins....His collection was simply mind-blowing. I managed to get quite a few of the beautiful custom books he produced, and they are an unbelievable wealth of information....Not to mention the pictures. He did have an eye for beautiful toning. I know that 1901-s quarter well, and it is simply a numismatic masterpiece....Gardner said "I can lose myself in it for long stretches of time" I've got just a couple Gardner coins, here are a few I've posted before, but they are great one's:
