Does anyone else have this problem on this forum?

Recently about 50% of the time I try to post something it tells me I need my post approved before it gets posted... Most of the time it takes up to 2 weeks for it to be approved, meaning it's too late by the time it's finally posted. It is irritating as hell, does anyone else have this problem?

It's a bug. It's existed forever. I just copy everything before posting. If you get that message, just repost
All comments reflect the opinion of the author, evn when irrefutably accurate.
I have never had that happen. My posts have always appeared immediately with no wait time.
I get it from time to time. When I do get it it's when I try to post a link.

I like the idea of copying my post prior to submitting it for more reasons than I care to divulge. lol

while the bug has existed for a while, some of your posts, umm, need pre-approval.
the staff here do a diligent job of trying to maintain a safe, interesting and balanced place for us all to post long-term despite some of our best efforts to thwart that from time-to-time. some extra guidance from them here and there is required.
do some of the tips others give you, let some time pass and you'll probably be ok.
do you use proxy servers, vpn or have some wonky o/s? - sometimes stuff like that will set-off various safeguards on various sites.
Never happened to me.

I seldom have any issues here, but there have been times when the software claimed I had posted something when it had not posted, and then the post was blocked because it was a "duplicate post." I have not had that in a long time.
In a quarter-century on these boards I have never had it happen...

There must be a reason. By the way, I think I've read in your previous posts that you are a YN. Something like 17 years old? Anyway, I don't think I can ever recall hearing a teenager use the expression, " irritating as hell." Did you pick that up from grandpa? There's got to be a reason.
Never happened to me, but I wonder if saving the post as a draft and then posting the draft might help.
Whatever is going on there's no reason to worry about it. You currently have 4 threads posted on the first page. So you have a back log of posts in waiting. What's the problem? Maybe the mods are holding back on releasing some of your topics because they're really good and the slow release of them keeps the interest up around here. Look on the bright side!
It's happened to me on numerous occasions, mostly (if not always) when my post included a quote form another forum member. Here's another thread on this topic: https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/comment/12898747#Comment_12898747

I have never had that happen. However, like @TomB (who has been here longer than I have), we have been through three changes of software and associated issues.... Likely your 'issue' will disappear soon. Cheers, RickO
Yes, very true. I was afraid that cursive writing and concern about proper spelling were on their way out!
Get used to this stuff. We love to go after new peeps a little. If you can be roasted a bit and stay, you belong here.
You're 16? Geeze. Your too old for this place

Never had that happen.
Shush! It hasn't happened in over a year, don't jinx us. Peace Roy

Heather sent me a private message, once. Yes it was annoying. That's how I learned social distancing.
