My Hawaii type set - finally complete!

ElmerFusterpuckElmerFusterpuck Posts: 4,767 ✭✭✭✭✭

Took awhile to get a decent example of the cent, but finally got it. The PCGS grades are as follows:

Cent - AU-55
Dime - XF-40
Quarter - AU-50
Half - XF-45
Dollar - XF-40

Very nice, good job! The half looks better than EF45 from the picture.

Very nice... My 1st attempt at a Hawian type set was a flop... I landed a counterfit dollar... I kept it as a reminder to do my homework 1st before jumping on a "great deal" :disappointed:

Nicely done Elmer. Nice even flow which is tough. I'd be proud of it were it mine.

Yes, fakes abound. There are a ton of fake dimes with the CircCam look on eBay from Russian (!) sellers.

That’s a great set and I’d say not many forumites have put it together.

Does anyone else have a start?

Great set Erik! Fairly well matched, attractive examples. I really like the look of the Half

Congrats on putting together a nice looking set. I have always liked the look of these coins. I have a Hawaii dime that I got from my grandfather's box of miscellaneous coins.
