Hi guys, this is what you call, "reaping in the Harvest". We cherry pickers know that when we finally reel in a catch. No coin emotion is better. Except when we have our Trophy documented and entombed in a slab. To not only officiate the coin but to show it off as well. Post one of your Cherries inside any well respected holder. Thanks

    1886 Morgan Vam 20 x 3 unattributed. Another 3 raw.

    Over six months looking at every auction (est. 60,000).

    Not sure if they are still TV'd.

    Nice, well earned profits.

    Nice pickup on the '61 DDR. I snagged 4 from a run of sealed sets in 2004. All graded 66 and 67.

    Too many to list, but at one time I had in my possession, 5 of the 34 DDO1 Lincolns. The 3 shown, and 2 other MS64RB examples. PCGS had only attributed 7 total back then.

    This 09-S was the S/S variety and at the time was a pop 1.


    Make no mistake, Bob (Watersport) has always been the Lincoln cherrypicking King around here.

    I don't have a picture, but I bought an Australian proof penny at a show that was marked as "UNC" for $2. Sold it on eBay for $450. The buyer returned it because he said it wasn't a proof. Took it to a show and sold it to a dealer there for $1200.

    How about when you Cherrypick the dealer tasked with helping to assemble one of the greatest hoards of all time and you Cherrypick a higher grade example than what the big great hoard has. Does that count? :D

    I normally don't certify my cherrypicks, the one exception I can recall was when the registries first started and I sent in a pile of mid-grade Lincoln Cent doubled dies that were suddenly in high demand for variety sets.

    I'm in the process of cherrying a BIN coin off eBay. A potential 3X increase in vaIue over the $110 I paid. I'll write more when the coin arrives.

    I picked up this 1951 BTW commemorative half with an unattributed rim clip, no mention of it in the listing at all, I just tripped over the pics while looking for a different coin:


    I also picked up a 1936 Walking Liberty Half in XF/AU with a nice DDO:

    No images. I cherry picked both the 1943/2 and 1943 DDO for $5 each. PCGS graded them MS64 and MS65. Still remember the DDO, it was at the ANA in Chicago in 2011. Looking through a Red Box of 2x2s full of 1943's. That one stuck out.

    Bought this dime on ebay for $35 business strike and sent it to NGC at the time and had it conserved and it graded Proof. Sold it to HJBerk for $300 a while later.
