Closing!

lkeneficlkenefic Posts: 8,609 ✭✭✭✭✭

Finally! I'll be closing on a house this afternoon! This marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life and the end of a particularly difficult year. Obviously, in the run up to buying a house, I've not spent a whole lot of money on coins... post a coin that you were happy to "close" the deal on. Here's one I kept that's part of the 7070 Type Set I'm rebuilding..

Collecting: Dansco 7070; Middle Date Large Cents (VF-AU); Box of 20;

Successful BST transactions with: SilverEagles92; Ahrensdad; Smitty; GregHansen; Lablade; Mercury10c; copperflopper; whatsup; KISHU1; scrapman1077, crispy, canadanz, smallchange, robkool, Mission16, ranshdow, ibzman350, Fallguy, Collectorcoins, SurfinxHI, jwitten, Walkerguy21D, dsessom.

    Here's a piece that took me a while to get, but that happy that I was able to close the deal on.

    More like since 2019 for me and I sold off some coins as well. On top of it all, I'm just about done with getting a divorce too... another milestone... sort of like the cherry on top! ;-)

    Congrats on the house! I bit off a little more than I could chew on this coin and it took me a couple of payments and a cooperative seller to let me pay it off on the "never-never".

    Such a ridiculously nice coin!

    Not the first... but I'll definitely be here a while. At least until I retire.

    One of the huge draws to putting in an offer was "all new systems throughout"... HVAC, Water heater, furnace, electrical box, and all new appliances... oven, microwave, washer/drier, ect... I was anticipating buying a house that might have needed a little work, but this one is about as "turnkey" as I saw. The back yard is pretty rough, but that gives me something to do! ;-)

    That's an excellent rate and the important thing is that it is FIXED.

    Also, nice not having to pay the PMI.

    Way to go!!
