Nasty day... time to organize my slabs.

I think I’ll separate and take pics by denominations, and then put in boxes by slab type.

    Sounds like fun. I'm sure you have some nice stuff there.

    It deserves to be organized and protected.

    I have the same dilemma. I really should organize all of my coins, slabbed and raw.

    Give all of your slabbed coins an SKU # and have a list of such.

    Put all PCGS coins in PCGS Boxes with SKU # range written on the box

    Put all NGC coins in NGC Boxes with SKU # range written on the box.

    Put all ANACS white slabbed coins in PCGS modified Boxes with SKU # range written on the box

    Put all ANACS blue/yellow coins in PCGS Boxes with SKU # range written on the box

    Put all ICG coins in PCGS Boxes with SKU # range written on the box

    Put all Thick Slabbed coins in NGC Wide slot Boxes with SKU # range written on the box

    I can find any one of my coins in seconds.

    Ok, now I'm curious. I know the insert states your 1801 is a half dime, yet comparing it to the seated dime slabbed next to it, appears rather to be a dime. Which is it?

    They are both half dimes.

    Compared to the 1875 quarter to the right of the "half" dimes, they don't look small enough!

    My list is digital and on four separate websites. My list is searchable that way.

    I have all of mine in Intercept boxes. Labeled on the outside with coin type and the box numbered. Box # 1 has coins in the series by date and grade.. Earliest 1st. Lower grades 1st for duplicates. I have approx. 1600 slabs with 96% PCGS. Got to have a system or I'd never find anything.

    Thank you sir. I had an opportunity to pick up a lot of overtime at work. Normal is 24 on, 48 off. Worked 48 on, 24 off for 2 1/2 years. Wifey got an increase in the household budget and I expanded my collection greatly. Off for an injury now. As soon as I go back to work ( June, July ) I'm going to continue with the O/T. I enjoy my collection immensely. I started my collection in 1964. Thanks to all on the Forum I've learned more in the last 3 years than the previous 54.

    Organize? My coins are organized. Some in the safe, some in the coin cabinets. Some in two cardboard boxes. And some by my computer desk. I know right where they are. ;):D It is good to be organized. ;) Cheers, RickO

    Yeah that is a nice collection. I like the variety of slabs and coin types. The Mexico and South America coins are super, thanks for sharing!

    I also did some coin stuff while down for the Texas storm...spent a few hours sorting world coins. Mostly more modern stuff but did pull a bunch of silver coins.

    Yes, I have a job ahead of me, as well. Lol.

    I'm eventually going to organize all the silver ones, toned, foreign, denominations... These are most of them. I still have many more flips. One day? :D
