I sold this 1854-C half eagle back to you, @Boosibri, and I wish I still had it. It's better than the piece you traded to me despite the fact that it was assigned a lower grade.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. Today's choice would be the 1818 50C Overton 112 PCGS AU55 CAC. The only coin that I cracked with enough confidence that it would upgrade from PCGS AU53 CAC.

There aren't too many, but I always thought this one was nice. I got it to upgrade from 66+ to 67. It's from old dies, with frost an inch thick and just outlandish luster.

I sold this PCGS MS65 Connecticut to ex-member @topstuf many years ago. He'd been inquiring about it for awhile, and since I also owned another PC65 Connecticut with pretty toning, I finally threw out a price of over 2x sheet, which he accepted somewhat to my surprise. I still own the other Connecticut, which has subsequently upgraded to PC66, but I always preferred the one I sold from an aesthetic standpoint, and think it also had a strong shot at an upgrade to MS66. I console myself that I still have the great photos that Mark Goodman took.

I sold aPCGS 1783 8 reales that I never should have let go. I made the coin myself and it was one of the very few of that year that was not an El Cazador shipwreck recovery. I think it was xf but it had a nice look to it.

Not a coin but a 86-87 Fleer Michael Jordan RC PSA 9. I paid $1400 for it 11 years ago. Sold it for $1800 9 years ago. Today they are over 40k. The Sportscard market has been on fire in various segments for quite a few years but some have gone through the roof during the pandemic.

I bought this compelling green Barber quarter (as a PCGS 65 CAC) from Tom Bush and unfortunately had to sell it to raise some funds. Tom bought it back and passed it on to another collector.
I happened upon it just yesterday at Great Collections in a new 66+ holder (no CAC) where it realized 1K more than I paid for it. It really is an awesome coin and I wouldn't mind having it back in my collection (although now I believe it to be over graded).

sold it to help pay for a trip to georgia, so it was worth it, but w the bu sales topping off at around 12,000 and proof [still have] nearly hitting 33,000, would be nice to have the set back together - sure it'll happen again someday - also sold one of my 5 oz silver apollos - have 2 more so not terribly upset, but those pucks are some of the best ever made imo
aside from this, sold all of my RMC silver bullion [aware thats not a coin 😆], and would've liked to've held onto that for the recent infamous history of that company

This coin is tied with one other coin for finest known at MS-62 for an 1873-P Chop marked Trade $. I bought the coin off eBay for less than $250. There are maybe 10 total 73-P Trade $'s known to be chop marked.Trade $'s7 -

I regret selling my 1883 trade proof. But even with a super low mintage, it's one I could pick up again with the right $$.
But of the ones I've sold that I regret, at least right now, it's this one I made from an old school raw collection several years back that I wish I still had:

This well struck wholesome 79-O in 64 plastic. The new owner enjoys it even more than I did; often showing it off when I visit. So, I guess, no major regrets.

I can see the regret dripping off many of your posted coins. While mine is not near as valuable, it still is a thorn in my foot for ever selling it. It was the only twenty cent piece I have owned and was purchased for my 1st 7070.

This was part of a PDS set that I miss. I think the coins are now in PCGS holders and the set has been split up.
